The sky had been dark and ominous for hours, casting a pall over the landscape of St Donovan, some students believed it was cursed, and others believed it was a sign of a looming disaster and the realization of the dream of the red-winged angel.

As the first rays of sunlight began to peek over the horizon, the darkness slowly receded. The clouds that had been so heavy and oppressive began to thin out, revealing the bright blue sky that had been hidden for so long.

Birds soon filled the air, their songs joyous and full of life. The wind picked up, blowing away the last remnants of the storm that had plagued the school for so long.

As the daylight grew stronger, the colors of St Donovan were revealed once more. The green grass, the brown soil, and the vibrant hues of wildflowers began to take on a renewed brilliance as if the natural world was celebrating the breaking of the curse.
