After a day of the guards searching the areas that had popped up they found one that looked promising. They called Alexander, Gavin, and Damion with the news. The men met the guards at the location and looked around. Alexander and Damion almost instantly smelled Symphony’s power here, it was very faint, but it was there. As the days went on Symphony showed improvement, it was still slow, but she was getting better day by day. She had finally been allowed to get up and move and wasn’t confined to her bed anymore so that was a big plus for her. The day of Symphony’s birthday drew closer, and it was a bittersweet feeling for her. She wished she was able to have her friends at her party, but she knew that wouldn’t be happening. From what he had found out there has only been one other case of a Lycan having a mate and that was Centuries ago. From what he gathered this Lycan had wanted ultimate power and the only way her could get that power was by killing a very special wolf, like Symphony, but the moon goddess couldn’t let that wolf line die out so she made them mates so she would be protected. They weren’t very in tune with the idea at the beginning but eventually made it work for the sake of their people because if they had rejected each other the moon goddess swore it would be the end of both of their species.
