It had been a week since Symphony had woken from her coma-like state, and she was still trying to piece her memories back together. She had been trying to make a connection with Starlett as well but with no luck. The only good thing that happened this past week was her getting her voice back. She had been checked over by the doctors and they told her that everything seemed normal. She hadn’t really spoken to Alexander much since she woke up. She had been kind of avoiding him. She knew that he had told her everything that had happened before she fell into whatever state she was in, but she felt like he was leaving something out. Even after reading his journal, she felt that way. She didn’t like that feeling. Damion and Gavin had come to visit her every day and even they seemed like they were hiding something from her. She knew if they were it was because Alexander told them to keep quiet, so she didn’t blame them. Alexander had moved his desk out of their room and was now working in
The next day, Alexander called the meeting for Symphony. She sat on the couch in between Alexander and Gavin, Damion sat across from them with one of the men that had been fighting next to her.Alexander had told him what was going on with Symphony and hoped he would be able to shed some light on the situation. He left out the part about her wolf though because that wasn’t his story to tell. The soldier had told Symphony everything that he could remember about the fight. Everything that she had previously heard from the other three men sitting next to her. She was able to remember some of it but not all. After the soldier finished telling her what had happened, he was dismissed.Damion and Gavin looked at each other and then to Alexander and Symphony, even they didn’t know what was going on.“I think it’s time we tell you what is going on.” Alexander said looking at Symphony. She nodded before she began speaking. She took a deep breath before telling them what was happening.“It seem
As the days turned into weeks no one had been able to figure out how to get Symphony’s wolf back. Day by day she was getting worse. She had stayed in her bedroom, she spent most of her time crying. She had stopped receiving visitors, and the only one allowed to see her was Alexander. She was spiraling into a deep depression that she couldn’t get out of. She had tried to get the moon goddess to show herself to see how she could make amends with her and get Starlett back, but it wasn’t working. She wished that she could go back and unsay what she said. She knew that the guys were worried about her, and she felt bad about that but what was she supposed to do? She was worthless without her wolf. Alexander had even tried to get her to go walk through the garden with him a few times, but she refused. She stayed in her room and sat in complete darkness. He wanted to help her, but he didn’t know how. He sent Gavin and Damion up a few times to talk to her, but she wouldn’t even open the door
As the sunsets over Grey Moon the atmosphere changes from happy and carefree to chilling and dreadful. There is a party going on to celebrate the birth of Alpha Jermey’s daughter. Most packs consider a girl as first born a disgrace but here it does not matter. The pack members had waited patiently for the birth of their next leader, whether it be a boy or a girl, they knew either way the baby would be strong because the Alpha was a Kolana wolf and their Luna was a Mattra wolf, they were wolves of legends as they were the last of their kind. These wolves were once feared around the world and known for their strength and quickness. They were white as snow and as big as a tractor. They also had special abilities that helped them in battle and running a pack. As most know, the Kolana wolves and the Mattra wolves were created by the moon goddess herself. No one knew exactly why they were created but after the last war with the Lycans they had been decimated to the brink of extinctio
The wolf world had been turned upside down with the kidnapping of the only Kolana/Mattra hybrid and the murder of the Alpha and Luna of Grey Moon. There had been search parties to try and find the killer/kidnapper as they assumed it was the same person. They looked for weeks and were unable to find a trace of the person responsible for this horrendous crime. They thought that the baby must have been killed as well or they would have received a ransom of some sort, but they were unable to find a body to prove their assumptions. Alexander smiled when he got the news that they were unable to track him. One of the wonderful things about being a powerful Lycan like he was, he was able to cover his sent. He knew that the only sent that the baby had given off was that of power, but he was able to mask that as well. When he had returned to his mansion that night, he had his housekeeper set up a room for the baby and had a nanny on standby to take care of the girl. He had to
~Flash Forward 15 Years~ As the Symphony’s 16th birthday rolled around, she had managed to excel in anything she put her mind to. She rarely saw Alexander anymore, which was weird as far as she was concerned because she used to spend every day with him. He had made himself scarce for the past few years. One thing she did remember is that he never seemed to age, maybe it was a Lycan thing. All she really cared about was the party that she had planned with the help of Sarah, her nanny. She was able to see Alexander long enough to ask him if she was allowed to have a party since she had started school. He reluctantly agreed if she only invited her close friends. He knew she was a popular girl in school because of her kindness and did not want too many people finding out what she actually was. She had already started showing her abilities and he had to let her teacher know what she was before questions started being asked. He was able to have her put into different clas
When Alexander got the phone from Gavin, he was not happy. He knew that Symphony would be found out eventually, but he was not expecting the message that she had gotten. He had immediately cancelled the meetings that he had and rushed home. When he got there, he was met by Gavin and was handed the package that Symphony had received. The writing looked familiar to him, but he couldn't place it. No one was supposed to know Symphony even existed and thought that this was a mistake. He had Gavin look into the security cameras to see if he could find anything while he put his best trackers on to see if they could pick up a sent from the package, unfortunately there was no luck on either front. He was getting angry and the Lycan side of him wanted blood. He knew after Symphony turned 16, she would be having her first shift at any time, and he wanted this person caught before then. He headed up the stairs towards Symphony’s room and could hear her crying softly. He stopped at her d
The next morning, Symphony woke up and every muscle in her body was sore. She recalled what had happened the day before and shuddered, she hoped that since she had her first shift it would be less painful next time.“It will get easier, sweet child” Starlett said to her. Symphony jumped a little, as she wasn’t used to having this voice inside of her head yet. She sighed and started getting ready for school. She hated Mondays and knew today was going to be worse because of all the extra guards that would be stationed around the school. She decided that even though she showered last night, she had time to take a nice hot shower this morning, hoping to relieve some of the soreness from her body. When she finished her shower, she did her hair and brushed her teeth. She took a minute to look at herself in the mirror, she didn’t look any different since she got her wolf, but she felt different.“Just wait, you will begin to experience the world in a different light not that
