[Cillian’s POV]

Bong. Bong. Bong.

The heavy iron bells of the Blackwood chapel did not sound like a celebration. To my ears, they sounded like a funeral dirge, tolling for the death of my soul.

I stood at the high altar, dressed in ceremonial armor polished to a blinding silver shine. The great hall was packed with hundreds of lords and generals, their heavy fur cloaks and polished swords catching the light of a thousand flickering white candles. The air was suffocatingly thick with the smell of

  • The Lycan King’s Hidden Male Omega: MM Romance   Make your choice, King Garrick

[King Cillian’s POV]I sat on my warhorse, staring at the towering white-stone walls of the Eastern Capital. The mate bond connecting my soul to Elian screamed. It pulled tight across my chest, burning like a hot iron pressed directly against my ribs. I felt his heartbeat slowing down miles away in the North. I felt his life slipping through my fingers. Every second we sat outside these gates was a second Elian lost. My inner beast clawed violently at the inside of my skull, demanding blood, demanding entry, demanding the absolute destruction of anything standing between the woman killing my Luna and us.I raised my scarred hand high above my head. I dropped it forward. The Northern siege engines fired instantly.Massive iron-tipped ballista bolts and jagged boulders tore through the air. They slammed into the Eastern Capital’s pristine walls with deafening, catastrophic force. The heavy stone barricades splintered. TI drew my broadsword and gave the command to charge.Tens of thousa

  • The Lycan King’s Hidden Male Omega: MM Romance   To the High King

"I said I am not to be disturbed!" I barked, my voice echoing off the stone walls."Sire, I beg your pardon," a muffled, breathless voice called through the thick wood. It was the High Commander of the Border Guard. "But the watchtower captains insisted I bring this to you immediately."I let out a heavy, aggravated sigh. I set the decanter down with a sharp clink, walked over to the doors, and slid the iron bolt back. I pulled one door open just enough to look at the man.The Commander was standing in the corridor, looking deeply uneasy. He was fully armored, his helm tucked under his arm, and his brow was furrowed with confusion. He didn't look terrified—he looked rattled, like a man trying to solve a puzzle with missing pieces."This had better be a declaration of war or a fire in the lower city, Commander," I warned, my voice dripping with cold disdain."It's the Northern border, Your Grace," the Commander said quickly, keeping his voice low. He shifted his weight, glancing nervou

  • The Lycan King’s Hidden Male Omega: MM Romance   King Garrick

[King Garrick’s POV]"You think entirely too small, Selene."I wiped a bead of sweat from my temple, pacing a slow, deliberate line across the thick, expensive rugs. The massive fire roaring in the stone hearth was oppressive, turning the hidden bedchamber into a sweltering oven. The heat made my silk doublet cling to my skin like a wet, heavy blanket, but I didn't care. The physical discomfort meant absolutely nothing compared to the intoxicating, god-like power humming through my veins. I felt absolutely, fundamentally untouchable.Queen Selene was lounging on the red velvet settee, her dark silk robe pooling around her and she was frowning at me with sharp disapproval."I am being realistic, Garrick," she snapped, shifting her weight on the cushions. "You are letting your ambition blind you to the reality of who we are dealing with. If we demand three northern border towns and unimpeded access to the silver trade, Cillian will pay it. He will bleed his own economy dry to keep the

  • The Lycan King’s Hidden Male Omega: MM Romance   I will be back, Elian

[Elian’s POV]I lay in the center of Cillian’s massive bed, staring blankly up at the dark canopy. My chest was rising and falling in shallow, uneven hitches. For hours, the sympathetic magic had been quiet. My mind was spinning completely out of control. Cillian had been gone too long. I had lost track of the hours since he rode out into the freezing storm, marching his men toward the silver mines. What if she wasn't there? What if she killed him? What if the tether snaps right now and I just stop breathing in this bed alone? The crushing weight of my own anxiety was starting to make me dizzy. I pulled the heavy furs up to my chin, my hands shaking so badly I could barely grip the edges. Then, the heavy silence of the castle shattered. It started as a muffled commotion down the far end of the corridor. Heavy, sprinting boots hitting the stone floor. The loud, chaotic clattering of armor. Guards were shouting questions, their voices overlapping in alarm. And then, cutting through all

  • The Lycan King’s Hidden Male Omega: MM Romance   Received the letter

[Cillian’s POV]Failure was a physical weight, heavy enough to drive a King to his knees.I stood entirely alone in the center of my private study, staring blankly at the massive stone fireplace. I did not move. I barely breathed. The frantic, desperate energy that had carried me all the way from the empty silver mines back to the borders of my own kingdom had completely abandoned me, leaving nothing behind but a hollow, crushing inadequacy. My inner wolf, a beast that had spent its entire existence dominating every room it walked into, was currently pacing the edges of my mind with its head bowed. It whined, a pathetic, grieving sound that echoed through my chest.I had lost her.I had marched into the freezing mountains, utterly convinced I was going to wrap my hands around Selene’s throat and rip the dark magic out of her chest. I had promised myself I would return to my mate with the ultimate prize of safety. Instead, I had found an empty cage, a dead assassin, and a trail that we

  • The Lycan King’s Hidden Male Omega: MM Romance   Sent the letter

[Isolde’s POV]I paced the length of my private chambers, my heavy silk skirts dragging across the thick rugs. My chest rose and fell in jagged, uneven gasps. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw the massive, scarred mercenary standing in the drafty corridor. I saw the absolute blankness in his expression as he looked down at me. I felt the stinging, humiliating burn of his rejection.I stand at the door. Nothing more.He had turned me down. A filthy, low-born rogue who should have been begging on his knees for my favor had looked me dead in the eye and chosen to bleed for a nameless rat in the basement. The jealousy was a physical, living thing in my chest, scratching at my ribs with hot claws. My own husband locked his doors to me. The guards I picked from the mud turned their backs on me. I was being replaced, pushed out of the inner circle of my own kingdom by a woman who didn't even have a face.I stopped in front of the massive silver-backed mirror sitting on my vanity. My reflect

The Warlord’s arrow had not killed me, but it had taken whatever was left of my soul. The castle above was shaking with the wild, frightening energy of a kingdom preparing for a royal marriage. But down in the scullery kitchens, the air was heavy and quiet.I was sitting on a low wo

The solid rock cracked under his fist, sending a shower of dust to the floor. The force of it snapped something back into place inside my head. Raw, pure fear cut through the fever haze. "Alpha."The word hung in the hot, heavy air of the room, heavy and completely damning. I couldn't believe I had said it. My brain screamed in horror, but my body didn't care. My inner Omega, starved and beaten down into the dark for nineteen years, clawed its way to the surface, demanding I give i

My ribs ached before I opened my eyes. That was how every morning started. Pain. A dull, steady ache burned on my left side where Alpha Thorne had kicked me two days ago. My crime? I hadn't scrubbed the blood out of the training mats quick enough. It wasn't just that my ribs ached. The screaming
