Arnou smiled widely at me and said

“I'm so happy you agreed. I can't wait for this trip to be over so we can go home.

As soon as we get home, we're going to have the best wedding.”

Arnou laughed excitedly as he brought his lips to my own. I kissed him back, laughing so full of joy, while Eva was busy during a happy victory dance.

And I knew at that moment that no matter what I faced in this new relationship, I would always be happy with Arnou.

I lay on my bed with a lazy smile on my lips. Arnou was fast asleep beside him, and I occasionally stole peaks at the man who was soon to be my husband.
