Anastasia’s POV

I tried to ignore Dominiko as I gathered the ingredients I needed for the second phase of this ritual. I would have to enter her mind and find the rope that was triple knotted and sever it. The problem was that I had no idea what that would look like, and I doubt that it would be easy to do.

This was gonna be a long day, and the last thing I needed was some over grown male helicoptering me. He had a question for everything! Eventually I was gonna have to shut him up because I’m gonna need to concentrate.

“Look, in order for me to do this, I need you to back off okay? All of the questions are driving me crazy!” I snapped.

I was never this bold in the past. I honestly don’t know where it’s coming from. His face became tight and fear began to cool my belly.

“You know, you’re the first person to talk to me like that?” He looked stunned at his own words.

I really needed to stop doing that though. He was, in fact, a king. Of course no one talked to him like tha

Dom’s POVAmos howled in delight as I watched Anastasia sit up. We were both terrified that she might not wake up. Thankfully, the wait was not that long, she sat up almost immediately. I watched it all as she spoke in that beautiful tongue and the glowing barrier around her faded away, dissolving into the floor.Reign groaned, pulling all of our attention towards her. It was the first time since she was brought back that she was up and coherent. I wanted to run to Anastasia’s side and embrace her, but I knew that that would make her uncomfortable. Also, we needed to get to the bottom of what happened to Reign and the witch before her.“ you should be able to talk to her now.” Anastasia’s voice rang out weakly, drawing my attention back to her again.‘This was too much for her! We shouldn’t have had her do this!’ Amos snarled.I had nothing to say to him. He was right. I regretted it too. After what I felt today, what she experienced, I could never put her in this position again. When

Dom’s POV “Like my alpha aura?” I asked. “Well, yeah except, instead of using it as a command, use it with the intention to heal.” I looked up at her again. A slow ache pulled in my core. It felt as if I had taken a blow to the stomac, and shortly after, I felt this immense pressure forming around my throat; making it slightly harder to breathe. Amos growled, feeling just as helpless as I did. I had no idea what was happening to her but it was obvious, she was experiencing physical pain. I focused on my aura and with ease, I projected it towards her. It wasn’t much different than when I would use it to bend others to my will. The longer I projected, pain began to ease. Any visible discomfort she was in, began to subside and Amos calmed again. All there was left to do was wait. Anastasia’s POV I was hunched over holding my shoulder in the middle of a field. A wet warmth coated my fingers as I bled. Feeling dazed I stood up. I didn’t expect to have to fight this girl. I

Anastasia’s POVI looked around, the dungeon was now in multiple shades of blue. I successfully made it to the spiritual realm. Dominiko was on his knees hunched over with his hands clinched tightly. It was clear he was feeling whatever pain my physical form was experiencing. Cyrus stood torn between going to me and staying with his king. Their other friend walked around the circle, notebook in hand. Writing down what he seen. My body stayed floating in the air, my eyes were wide open and my mouth slightly parted, and a glowing green cord streamed from the center of my forehead to the body of Reign. It was a peculiar sight I might say myself. My spirit followed the cord over to the sleeping woman, and I gently placed my palm over her head. I closed my eyes and ventured through her dream state.I was no longer in the dungeon, but in the center of a dark forest. When you first looked on, everything seemed normal, but as you continued to look, the trees began to shift. The trees trucks

Anastasia’s POV I held his gaze, pleading with him to understand me. It took him a few seconds to register what I was saying before his eyes displayed understanding. He took a deep breath, but he nodded his head in agreement. “Your majesty, if it’s that dangerous, shouldn’t we hold off on this?” Cyrus asked. “No!” I shouted. I was not gonna waste anymore time here. I needed to get back to my brother. I already lost two years with him, I couldn’t afford to lose more. Also, he agreed already. He would let me leave if I did this. I have to do this! No matter what. “I’m already soul tied to her. The longer I take to complete this ritual, the weaker she becomes. I have to do this.” It wasn’t a lie. The only reason she was calm and no longer looping was because my soul was anchoring her to her place. If I didn’t complete the ritual, she would slowly deteriorate mentally until there was nothing left of her sanity. It wouldn’t kill her, no, but she would be a vegetable. His ey

  • The Lycan King’s Witch: Beneath the Crimson Moon   Chapter 15

Anastasia’s POV Once we were out of their view, with one swift move, Dominiko was lifting me off of my feet and taking me down the hall. I immediately began to protest but none of my hits or twisting was fazing him. My body felt fragile and I felt completely drained. “Why must you fight all of the time, little witch? I can see the state you are in. There’s no need to over exert yourself.” I half expected to see that smug smile, but to my surprise, he was wearing a look of genuine concern. I stilled myself and anxiously waited for him to put me down. The longer he held onto me, my mind began to trail back to this morning. How he held me so close. How close his lips were to mine, and how intoxicating his natural scent was. My heart began to pick up speed and that familiar warmth pooled between my legs. His lips pulled up into a smile and my cheeks grew hot with embarrassment. Well that’s just great! I would be mated to an animal! We arrived at a set of French doors and he
