*BOOK 1: THE ALPHA KINGPIN TWINS* Navigating the harsh criminal underworld is no easy task, especially for women. Mira, an unwanted omega born from an Alpha's mistress, has experienced this reality firsthand. Deemed worthless, Mira is sold to the merciless Russian Alpha, Mikhail Popov, who subjects her to unimaginable cruelty. Forsaken by her family, Mira faces a life of suffering and violence under Popov's control. But Mira has a plan. On a fateful night, she seizes the opportunity to escape, taking with her secrets that could destroy Popov. Mira believes she has found freedom, but instead, she stumbles into the lair of Alpha Nikolaos Ioannides, a Greek Alpha with an even darker reputation. As a brutal pack war rages around them, Mira's options grow scarce. However, Alpha Nikolaos makes her an offer: her freedom and independence in exchange for one thing – giving him an Alpha heir. Mira is left with a crucial decision: is she willing to bear a child for the fearsome Alpha in exchange for her freedom? And perhaps more importantly, will she even have a choice? *** “You want to breed me?” He winces at the term, but nods.“Yes. I need an Alpha heir but in my position, I don't have time to go out looking for a mate nor do I want a Luna.” Mate; the one thing every wolf wants but no one seems to have. The Mate Bond is so obscure that many wolves have decided not to chase after it anymore. Would I even still be fertile after all the abuse I've suffered? What tests did the doctor run that she concluded I was fit to bear an Alpha's pup? *** Side Stories Included: Beta's Runaway Bride - Completed BITTERSWEET: The Gamma's Stories - Ongoing
View MoreI don’t know how long I’ve been running for, but I can no longer feel the soles of my feet. My sides ache from trying to breathe with fractured ribs, one side of my face is bruised and the silver bullet they shot at me grazed my upper arm.
Beaten, bloody, and running for my life in the thick snow.
Turning my head, I look behind me to see if I’ve lost my assailants only to see one of them raise their arm. The black Beretta glistens in the sunlight and I zigzag again so the wolfsbane bullet simply grazes my leg and I stumble.
Regaining my footing, I only see in front of me and continue running ignoring the way my foggy breath is hindering my vision.
“Nowhere to hide, little Omega whore! The boss has big plans for you after what you did!” one of them calls out and it motivates me to run even faster.
I need to push past the pain and freezing cold to get to safety; I can’t suffer under the thumb of that abusive monster for another second. I would rather die than go back there!
Quickly, I twist my body and raise my own weapon above my head. Three shots and I hear one of them grunt and hit the floor. Yes!
In front of me, I see a hill and continue to run, hearing the sounds of honking cars and people. My route was correct, I made it into the city! It’s a week before the Moon Goddess Solstice, the perfect time to escape them in a bustling crowd. They won’t be able to find me in the market up there!
With my breathing ragged and lungs burning from the cold, I clutch my side and taste blood in my mouth while ignoring the burning pain of my bloody feet and open wounds.
My healing isn’t kicking in because of the wolfsbane bullets, hopefully, I can find an alley so I can allow my body to heal. Catching a glimpse behind me again, I now see three assailants and pick up my pace.
Freedom is a few more steps away, I cannot let it go!
Heaving myself up, I run into the crowd and ignore the looks I’m getting. My would-be kidnappers won’t shoot here, but they’ll chase me until they eventually catch me and drag me back to that monster.
If I’m lucky, one of these people might help me, but I have given up on human or shifter kindness a long time ago. The day my father sold me to this man, he signed my death warrant.
I was nothing but one of his bastard children, anyway - the Omega child of an Omega mistress made to sweeten the deals of his predatory friends.
Mafia princesses are usually treated like royalty, but I’m just an Omega mafia bastard.
I spot an alley up ahead and turn into it, hoping for a trashcan to jump into and mask my scent, but to my dismay, it’s empty.
“Shit!” I exclaim but still run through it anyway.
They’re a few meters behind me, but thankfully they haven’t discovered this alleyway yet. I turn my head to see if I’m still safe, but as I do, I run smack bang into something hard. I fall on my ass and tumble to the floor, knowing that a few seconds ago there was nothing in this alleyway!
“What the fuck?!” a man’s voice calls out and it sends shivers down my spine. When I look up, I see a blurry face with red eyes and nothing else.
An Alpha, oh no.
“P-please…help me…” I utter the words I never wanted to, but I know how many precious seconds I’m wasting by laying here. “Please…I have to…”
Someone pulls me up by my arm and it takes me a few seconds to register that it’s the man. He opens a door he’s standing next to. “Go inside.” He orders before closing the door again.
I must be foolish to trust a man I don’t know, and for all I know, he could be an even worse of a monster than the one I ran away from. But for now, I’m safe - for now, those men won’t know I’m here.
Running footsteps outside get my attention and I hold my breath, hoping they don’t do anything to this man who tried to help me. I hear voices outside, but my vision gets blurry again and I lean against the doorway while trying not to make a noise.
If they see me in here, I’m as good as dead.
Retreating footsteps cause me to perk up and it takes a while before the door is opened again. In one swift motion that leaves me dazed, I get pulled out of the room and into the alleyway. The man who saved me is leering down at me, a curious frown on his face.
I feel a stab of familiarity in his smirk, and that small ball of fear has now reached its peak.
“And just who might you be, little rabbit?” he asks in that same tone of voice; low and demanding. The husky lilt to his voice would have been attractive, were it not for my fading vision.
“I…I don’t rememb…” the words fail me, and before I know it, I’ve lost my balance. Before I can hit the floor, a pair of strong arms grab me and gently hoist me up. The scent of spice and leather invades my senses and reminds me of autumn, but I am unable to string a coherent sentence together right now.
The last thing I hear before my vision goes dark is, “Alpha Nikolaos.”
Epilogue Armata / Levi Six months have passed since Calista and I tied the knot, and now it’s time to take her home to my pack. I can sense her nervousness as we drive toward the estate, her hands fidgeting slightly. I reach over, taking her hand in mine, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “Don’t worry, Princess,” I say, trying to ease her anxiety. “You’re going to fit right in. They’re going to love you.” She gives me a small, nervous smile. “I hope so, Levi. I just want to make a good impression.” “Where’s that kick-ass attitude from when I met you, hmm?” I tease her with a wink, and she hits my shoulder lightly. “Don’t make fun of me! This is all new to me, okay!” she says, biting her bottom lip. I sigh. “I know, baby, I’m just trying to make you smile.” As we approach the estate gates, I feel a familiar sense of homecoming. I squeeze Calista’s hand again as we drive through, her grip on my hand tightening slightly. When the car pulls up to the main pack house, my heart swells
CalistaAs Levi and I drive towards the hotel for our mini honeymoon, my mind races with a mix of emotions. I’m excited, of course, but also undeniably nervous. The idea of what’s to come, this new chapter with Levi, is both exhilarating and intimidating. Levi, with his rough edges and protective nature, has opened up a part of me I didn’t even know existed. He’s shown me that beneath the façade of the spoilt heiress, there’s a tenderness, a vulnerability that I’ve never exposed to anyone else.As we pull up to the hotel, it’s like stepping into a dream. The hotel is elegant and understated, its ambiance a perfect reflection of our relationship.Walking into the hotel room, I can feel my heart pounding in my chest. The room is beautiful, a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The soft lighting and the plush bed seem to beckon us, promising a night of intimacy and connection.Levi pulls me close, his front to my back as his lips brushing against my ear. “Are you okay, Princess?” he wh
Armata / LeviThe day of our marriage officiation is a mix of nerves and understated excitement. Calista didn’t want anything big, which initially struck me as odd. She just wanted it to be a simple affair, something intimate and personal. In a way, it suits us – no grand gestures, just a true union of hearts and souls.Standing in the small, elegantly decorated room, a sense of anticipation courses through me. Today, Calista and I are taking a significant step forward, embarking on a journey fraught with challenges but one we’re both fiercely committed to.The door swings open, and Alpha Nikolaos strides in, his presence as commanding as ever. But it’s the man following him that stops me in my tracks – Liam; my brother, not by blood, but in every way that counts. We haven’t seen each other in months, and his appearance here, now, is both a shock and a profound relief.“Liam!” I exclaim, my voice a mix of disbelief and joy.“Fuck, Levi!” Liam responds, his voice echoing my own warmth.
CalistaClutching onto Levi as we sit in my father’s office, I feel a whirlwind of emotions raging inside me. My heart is still racing from the shock and relief of seeing him return, and the realization of how much I’ve missed him hits me like a tidal wave. I refuse to let go of his hand, needing his grounding presence as we face my father together.“Calista, Levi,” my father begins, his tone serious, “you both seem to have reached a decision.”I tighten my grip on Levi, my voice steady despite the tears that had just subsided. “Yes, we have. We accept the proposal.”My father’s gaze shifts to Levi, his expression scrutinizing. “Levi, you do understand that this means Calista will be leaving with you to join Alpha Nikolaos’ pack?”Levi meets my gaze for a brief moment, his eyes searching mine for any doubt. Turning back to my father, he replies with a firm resolve, “Yes, sir. We’re aware of what this entails, and we’re prepared for it.”My father leans back in his chair, his eyes neve
Armata / LiamRiding back towards the mansion, the steady roar of the bike beneath me is the only thing keeping my racing thoughts at bay. These past two weeks without Calista have been a relentless hell. Every day felt longer than the last, each moment stretching into an agonizing eternity. Being away from her didn’t just bring clarity; it fucking intensified everything I felt for her – every longing, every goddamn unspoken word.I replay our moments together in my head, over and over. Every laugh, every intense stare, every godforsaken time she looked at me and didn’t even realize how much she affected me. Being away from her wasn’t just about missing her physically – though I ached for that too – it was the profound, gut-wrenching yearning for the connection we have. The way she challenges me, pushes me, fucking complements everything I am..Every night away was a goddamn battle against the urge to just say ‘fuck it’ and come back to her. Lying awake in the cabin, I’d think about
CalistaThe following morning, I wake up with a sense of purpose, my mind clear and my decision made. I know what I want, and it involves Levi. Despite everything surrounding us, my heart is certain. I want to be with him, not because of any arrangement or obligation, but because of how I truly feel.As I get ready for the day, I can’t help but feel a flutter of excitement at the thought of seeing Levi, of telling him my decision. I wonder how he’ll react, whether he’ll share my feelings, whether this could be the start of something beautiful and real between us.Heading down to breakfast, I expect to see Levi waiting for me, as has become our routine. But instead, I find Marcus, one of Levi’s men, standing by the door.“Good morning, Marcus. Where’s Levi?” I ask, trying to hide my disappointment.Marcus seems a bit uncomfortable, shifting on his feet. “Good morning, Miss Calista. I’m not sure where Levi is. He asked us to accompany you for the day.”My heart sinks a little. “He’s no
