The Lycan Prince Rejected Mate

The night was cold and still, the full moon casting an eerie glow over the forest. The air was thick with the scent of pine and damp earth, and the sound of crickets chirping filled the silence. In the heart of the forest, a pack of Lycans had gathered in a clearing, their eyes fixed on their king.

The king, a massive beast with black fur and piercing green eyes, stood at the center of the clearing. His gaze was stern as he addressed his pack.

"In this evening's gathering, we have the pleasure of introducing a new member to our pack," he announced, his voice resonating with authority.

"This individual possesses unique and highly valued qualities, and it is imperative that we treat her with the utmost respect and honor." As he spoke, his gaze swept across the assembled members of the Wavoon pack, who had turned their attention to him.

The Wavoon pack murmured their agreement, their eyes glinting with excitement. They had not had a new member in many moons, and the prospect of welcoming someone new was thrilling.

Suddenly, the bushes at the edge of the clearing rustled, and a young she wolf stepped out. She was small and delicate, with golden fur and bright blue eyes. The wavoon pack members stared at her in awe, for they had never seen a she wolf like her before.

The king approached her, his eyes locked onto hers.

"Welcome to our pack," he said, his voice softening.

"What is your name?"He asked , glaring at her .

The young she wolf trembled as she spoke. "I'm Amelia ,From the greenwood pack " she said, her voice was more like a whisper.

The king nodded, his expression unreadable. "Amelia, I am super excited to welcome you into our pack. You will be treated with the respect and dignity that all members of our pack are entitled to."The king , Edwin spoke with an air of authority

Amelia heart swelled with pride as she looked around at the pack. She had always dreamed of being a part of a pack, and now her dream had finally come true.

But her joy was short-lived. Suddenly, a voice rang out from the back of the pack.

"I object!" it said, loud and clear.

All eyes turned to see who had spoken, and Amelia heart sank as she saw who it was. It was the king's son, a handsome lycan with dark fur and piercing blue eyes.

"I object to this new member joining our pack," he said, his voice cold and unyielding.

"She is weak, fragile and Unsupported, she will only be a burden to us."Prince Ethan said ,with his eyes fixed on the little she wolf who quivers ,fear written all over her.

The king's expression hardened, and he stepped forward.

"You dare to challenge my decision?" he said, his voice low and dangerous.

prince Ethan stood his ground, his eyes locked onto his father's.

"I do," he said,with an air of authority as the atmosphere became so quiet ,that even the sound of the birds could not be heard .

"I will not allow this weakling to bring shame to our pack."He voiced out , holding onto his shirt in an alw .

Amelia watched in horror as the king and his son faced off, their eyes locked in a fierce battle of wills. And then, to her shock, the king spoke.

"Very well," he said, his voice resigned.

"If my son does not want this new member in our pack, then she shall be rejected."He stated , Obligated to his son.

Amelia's heart shattered as the king's words sank in. She had been so close to achieving her dream, and now it was all slipping away.

The wavoon pack watched in silence as Amelia turned and ran, tears streaming down her face. She had been rejected by the lycan king, and her heart was broken.

Amelia ran through the forest, her heart pounding with every step. The tears streamed down her face, and her body shook with sobs. She couldn't believe what had just happened. She had been so excited to join the Wavoon pack, and now she was being rejected.

As she ran, she heard a twig snap behind her. She turned to see the king's son, his eyes blazing with fury, running after her.

"Stop!" he shouted and then paused while trying to catch his breath

"You can't just leave like that!"He whispered , waking closer to her.

Amelia ignored him and continued to run. She didn't want to talk to him. She didn't want to be near him. All she wanted was to be alone.

But the prince was fast, and soon he caught up to her. He grabbed her by the arm and spin her around to face him.

"What's wrong with you?" he demanded, his face contorted with anger.

"Why are you running away?"He asked ,Facing her .They stares at each other as they felt some spark in their stomach.They heart beating in rhyme to the dancing trees and the leaves,which waves Rapidly to their intense gaze .

Amelia glared at him, her eyes burning with fury. "You know why," she spat.

"You're the one who rejected me."She thunder at him.She is damn angry at the prince for Rejecting her ,she knew he was her chosen Mate but she wasn't here for the mate bond and yet ,he blindly rejected her.

The prince's expression softened, and he looked away.

"I didn't mean to hurt you," he said, his voice quiet.

"I just don't think you're cut out for this life. You're too fragile."He whisper , holding her hands .

Amelia felt a surge of anger,mix with her feelings if wanting the prince by her side

"I'm not fragile!" she shouted.

"I'm strong, and I can handle anything you throw at me!"She Added .

The prince shook his head.

"I don't believe you," he said.

"But maybe you can prove me wrong. Maybe you can show me that you're tough enough to be part of the pack."He voiced out ,his wolf part was taking the soft part of him .He couldn't suppress his feeling for his mate .

Amelia heart skipped a beat.

"What do you mean?"

prince Ethan grinned, a wicked glint in his eye. "I mean, we can have a little competition. If you win, you can stay in the pack. If you lose, you leave."He added , taking a quick sighs.

Amelia hesitated. She didn't want to leave the pack. But she didn't know if she could win a competition against the prince. He was strong and fast and fierce.

"What kind of competition?" she asked.

prince Ethan grinned, Accepting her questions with a smirk .

"A race," he said.

"From here to the edge of the forest. The first one to get there wins."He said , pointing at the distance as her eyes follow the direction of his hands in an alw.

Amelia heart sank, She wasn't a fast runner and She knew she would lose.

But she didn't have a choice. She couldn't leave the pack ,she had to try.

"Okay," she said, her voice trembling.

"I'll race you."She said with more confident as prince Ethan grin widened.

"Good," he said.

"But we have to make it interesting. If you win, I'll let you stay in the pack. And if I win..."

He paused, a wicked glint in his eye.

"If I win," he said,

"I'll be your mate."

Amelia eyes widened in shock. She had never expected that. The prince was offering to be her mate?

She hesitated, unsure. She didn't know if she wanted the prince as her mate. He had rejected her, after all. But then again, she didn't want to leave the pack. And if she won the race, she could stay.

"Okay," she said, her voice shaking.

"I accept."She said ,spanking her head backwards in horror.

The prince's grin widened. "Good," he said. "Let's get started."

They took their places at the starting line, and the prince counted down.

"Three... two... one... go!"

Amelia took off, her legs pumping as fast as they could go. She could hear the prince behind her, his breath hot on her neck. She ran as fast as she could, but she could feel herself slowing down.

as the prince surged ahead, his victory seeming inevitable.

Amelia gritted her teeth and pushed herself harder, refusing to give up. She could see the edge of the forest in the distance, and she knew she had to keep going. As she ran, a sudden burst of energy surged through her, and she felt herself gaining speed. She closed the gap between herself and the prince, and then, with a burst of strength, she overtook him. As she crossed the finish line, she turned to see the prince panting behind her with a look of shock and disbelief on his face.
