Marly POV

I woke again riddled with pain racing throughout my body. I groaned as I rolled over and realized I was still on the floor. I slowly got up, moving towards the thin, stained mattress. As thin as it was, it gave me a bit of relief that I had not felt on the hard floor. How long had I been out?

I had no sense of time, no idea how much time I had left to try and escape this hell. I had no idea where I was, so even if I could connect with Carson, I could not tell him how to find me. I had to rely on myself for now, until Carson was able to get to me. I shivered in the cold room, closing my eyes and then opening them quickly.
