Chapter 32

Jonathan brought out his cell phone and made a call. After two rings, Madam Yvonne picked it.

“Yes?” She said impatiently.

“I didn't get all of them.” Jonathan said through gritted teeth, still angry that Nadine and her accomplice had eluded him.

“What?” Madam Yvonne asked disbelievingly.

“There were six of them. I killed four. Two got away. I had to kill the twins.” Jonathan said defensively.

“What kind of clusterfuck is this? Did you have to kill the twins? You know we need as many people as possible for our plan.” Madam Yvonne said, trying to hide her anger, and failing miserably.

“The twins were traitors. You don't have scold me like a child. Remember who's in charge here.” Jonathan said, raising his voice.

“Apparently, it shouldn't be you. How could you let two of them get away?” Madam Yvonne could not bring herself to get over Jonathan's failure, “I gave you everything you needed; silver bullets, silver knives and armor. I even gave you the Dragon Rage!”
