“JAMES!” Annie shouted as she managed to catch a fainting Grace.
“Sweetheart? What is wrong?” James shouted back as he ran up the stairs and opened the door. He saw Grace on the floor, with Annie putting her in the recovery position.
“Call an ambulance now!” Ordered Annie.
“It probably just low blood sugar level, if we ..” Theo said as he popped his head round.
“No! We need an ambulance!” Annie snapped.
“Anne?” James said he could see Annie was worried. Annie had dealt with Grace’s low sugar levels for years, yet she was concerned.
“She’s pregnant!” Annie said staring at James. Instantly, James felt a mixture of pride and concern. Pride that Anne trusted him enough to trust him that information, but obviously concern over Grace.
“Shit!” Theo cursed. His Dad was going to kill him if anything happened to either of them!
