She was innocent

Osy got out of the car the moment Scorpion killed the engine. He pocketed three of his guns and held one in his hand.

"Should I come with you, sir?" Scorpion asked, with his head bowed, afraid of what Osy's answer would be.

"Get your guns, and follow me," he said before he marched to the gate.

Scorpion didn't waste any time at all. He took his gun and exited the car.

Osy knocked on the gate and stood back.

"Who's there?" A guard called from the other side of the gate.

"The devil."

"What? The devil? What are you doing here?" He asked, without opening the gate.

"I'm here to see your master."

As much as Osy ached to barge into the compound, he knew there was no way for him to do that with the iron gate. Breaking through would require a lot of time. And that wasn't what he had.

"Our Master? Wait—"

"If I count to the number 10, and the gate isn't opened, you will have your tongues cut. Don't forget who I am." Osy threatened them.

The guards exchanged a look.

As much as they would have preferred to call their master's attention to the devil standing outside their gates, they knew that should they waste time, it wouldn't end well for them.

"Go and call master." The leader instructed his second-in-command while he rummaged in his pocket for the gate's button key.

He pressed it, and the gates gradually started to open.

"Shut the gate!"

The guard, whom he asked to alert the master, ran out, but it was too late; Osy was already inside.

Scorpion fired his gun at the three men who tried to shoot Osy. His shots were precise.

Osy nodded at him before he entered the house. More of the soothing killer's men rushed out, with their guns ready to shoot them, but they weren't fast.

With Scorpion close behind, they managed to get a shot at the men. Only a bullet grazed Scorpion's arm.

Scorpion turned in anger and shot the man between his eyes. He squatted and shot three of the men who tried to attack him.

Osy walked into the house, shooting down any of the men who attempted to stop him. Bodies piled on the ground as he advanced. The ground was slippery with blood, but he didn't mind. He didn't spare the fallen men a glance as he approached.

Any of the men Osy missed, Scorpion shot. They didn't let any of the men escape. Osy marched over to the place he had raided with his men a few months ago.

He kicked the door down with his boots, only to stop when his eyes landed on Kon.

"Kon?"

His bloodied body made Osy clench his jaws.

"I can explain." The soothing killer raised his hands and approached Osy. "It's not what it seems." He discreetly glanced at his men.

However, before they could react, Scorpion had already put three gaping holes in their foreheads.

"Kon." Osy rushed over to him and dropped to his knees.

"You finally came." Kon tried to smile, but the pain was too much.

The pain he had been keeping at bay took over with vengeance.

He grimaced.

The soothing killer discreetly walked towards his fallen men to get their guns.

"How dare you!" Osy shot him in his legs.

With a shout of pain, the soothing killer fell to the ground.

"How dare you lay your filthy hands on him?" He shot him on his thighs.

The soothing killer grimaced. He wasn't about to show his weakness to Osy.

"I want you to feel the pain she underwent when you took her from me." He growled at Osy. "I want you to feel that excruciating pain." He laughed sadistically.

"She deserved what she got." Osy advanced towards the soothing killer. He shot him in his left thigh. "Aren't you ashamed?" He squatted in front of the scared man. "She tried to cheat on you, and you still think so highly of that slut?"

"She's not a slut!" The soothing killer clenched his teeth in anger. "She was never a slut! You are the one who tried to take her from me!"

"Really?" Osy scoffed. "Are you trying to say I was the one who played the harlot?" He placed the gun on the man's forehead.

"Shoot me, and get it over with, devil." He clenched his teeth. "That's all you know how to do. Your hands are soaked with blood."

"But not with the blood of the innocent." Osy grinned. "They're soaked with the blood of those who deserved to die."

"That's not true! She was innocent, but you killed her!" He narrowed his eyes at Osy. "You are a bloody murderer!"

"And I never said I'm not," Osy smirked. "I will let you go, this once, soothing killer."

"Why?" The man scoffed. "Kill me, and get it over with."

"I'm not letting you go if you think that's what I meant." Osy laughed sadistically. "I will have you begging for death, which won't come."

"Why?" He scoffed. "Do you think you are doing the world good by not killing me? Your hands are already soaked with blood. There is no redemption for someone like you." He spat, with his eyes narrowed to slits, at Osy.

"For the truce. I promised not to kill you, and I won't do that. Unlike you, I respect my words. Though you will be crying for death, which will be far beyond your reach." He rose from his crouched position. "I will make you regret the day you raised your hand against him." He gritted his teeth and turned his back to the man.

Osy hurried over to Kon.

With Osy's focus off him, the man picked one of the guns from his dead men.

"Die, you devil!" Laughing sadistically, he fired the gun at him.
