Alessandro's POV

It's been a week since I signed a consent form and requested that my wife be taken off the ventilator. One week has passed since I last saw her face, touched her skin, and heard her last breath.

Today is her funeral, and I've been counting down the minutes. I spent my time with our children, especially Daisy, being there for them. Making certain that they have everything they desire and require.
