Fedele’s POV

I heard him counting down and the once closed door began to open. A bright light barely showed through all the darkness as it seemed that the darkness behind me was starting to suck up the light in front of me. This couldn't be happening. I heard King growling and barking.

"Five... four... three..."

I looked at the clock on the wall. The red numbers twenty-four appeared so bright as King started barking louder and before Hatter got to one, I took out through the open door. As soon as I made it out, the door closed and the lights began to automatically come on down the hall. I touched the wall and sure enough it was made of concrete. Was I in some type of maze? I continued down the hallway but when I stopped and looked back, darkness had covered my tracks.
