Chapter Nine

"It's just a marriage based on an agreement. I can't do anything about it". Leniela replied.

Savina sighed, holding her hand. " Come with me".

Leniela brows furrowed "Where to?".

Savina didn't reply as she started pulling her out of the kitchen towards another door which led to the garden.

Leniela couldn't help but be amazed at how beautiful and natural the place was. There were all sorts of flowers blooming under the early sun rays.

Lilies, roses, tulips, violets. Name it all.

"Wow! this place is beautiful!" . Leniela exclaimed, carefully touching one of the roses as the fresh sweet scent hit her nostrils.

Savina chuckled. " It indeed is. I spend most of my time here when I'm bored. The maids really did a great job while I was away".

Leniela agreed with her. The place was clean and the flowers were neatly trimmed.

"Now let's get back to what brought us here". Savina gestured to the opposite chair which was separated from her own with a table and Leniela sat down.
