4. Crazy Linda

Luca hurried out of the room and shut the door behind him with a deep sigh.

She wasn't trying to run away again and so that is progress but he was still worried about her.

Everything about her.

How long would he house her until her memories came kicking back?

What if her memories never return and he then has no option but to make her leave?

It would be a disaster to kick away the latest discovery that could lead to finding the one who murdered his mother or that was the perpetrator behind the door.

He only had the new assumption that a single assassin carried out the job because he got to meet the mysterious Linda.

The Lamborghini Mrs Antonio was attacked in had bullet holes all over and a normal person should believe there was more than one attacker who opened fire on the vehicle killing her and the escorts.

The perpetrator then proceeds to destroy her face with bullets making her body unrecognizable.

It was a gruesome murder and the sight of her body in the mortuary still haunts him to date.

Why her?

The boss was not attacked, not the consigliere or even the underboss, who was always out with the gang to carry out activities.

He was the one who did most of the dirty jobs and if anyone wanted revenge, Luca was the perfect candidate to be decorated with bullets.

Just maybe they were scared to face him, a professional underboss could never be taken down easily without a fight.

Nico Antonio was no fighter. She only managed the sales records and once in a while took the place of the boss to manage the activities of the family.

That is right, she was the easy target to take down but it didn't look like a message.

No rival gang called to claim responsibility or sent threats that more bodies would fellow. Nothing!

Someone would just wake up and decide to kill the boss' wife for no exact reason.

He tried to dig into the murder already but always come to a dead end and so gave up.

Luca believed that nothing ever dies completely with no trace.

One day something would come out that leads him to the one who murdered his mother.

And that something was Linda who would help him find this person or people, and she could also be the killer, he wasn't sure and could not conclude.

The killer would probably sell the things taken from the dead woman and not wear them around.

He could also be thinking wrong though, who knows?

The Antonio family had retrieved their vengeance scheme by the order of the boss who understood they were crossing territories in search of answers.

He was not afraid of a mafia war but he doesn't want to be the one who starts the fight.

Lorenzo only retaliates when you step on his big toes.

Luca noticed two of his maids in the building moving towards the main hallway and he beckoned at them quickly.

Yes, the maid would help him out on this. He wasn't ready to bang the mysterious lady but she was making it difficult for him.

Her memory loss might explain it all and it leaves him thinking if there was a collaboration with the loss of her senses.

He leaned closer to the two and whispered, "I got a lady in there and she's um, she's not stable mentally--" Luca wasn't sure if that was another option.

That she was probably crazy but anyways, "She moves around butt naked. Convince her to put some clothes on after helping her get a nice bath and bring her up for breakfast "

The other maid said quickly, "I'll get breakfast ready, boss"

He responded, "Good one, Grace, now go"

She left immediately leaving the first maid to deal with the mysterious lady.

Luca entered with her and there sat Linda on the bed, covered in the duvet. He had wrapped her up nicely before leaving to get a maid.

Luca said to her, "Linda, meet your new friend, Hannah, she'll help you out, okay?"

Linda sneered at him and raised the notepad to his face, the one he had given her.

She had written something on it for him to read.

'I'm not mentally deranged, you idiot!'

How did she hear his conversation with the maids?

She was definitely eavesdropping close to the door but he could have heard her footsteps.

Was she such a professional assassin who was good at stealth?

His suspicion about her grew.

She opened a new page where she wrote and raised to his face again.

'Are clothes important?'

Luca gasped and brushed his hair with his hand.

Was she serious right now?

Was that a question?

Luca answered rather angrily, "Yes, freaking yes, you don't move around butt naked, you're a woman who got a sense of shame"

He wasn't sure why he was lecturing her on this when he literally loved to see women naked on his bed.

95% of women who comes into the villa get banged with their consent. He never forces himself on any. It was a rule for him and its easier because to the ladies of Thorn Hill, he was a god in human form.

Lady Linda was strictly out of the list despite her looks. He would never hit on the prime suspect in the murder of his mother.

He just needs to make her comfortable until her memories are restored but what if she was truly the killer?

She realizes that when the memories come and she either kills or escapes from him.

This sh¡t was complicated.

In the meantime, "Hannah will help you get a perfect bath, Linda, and we'll see soon"

Luca made for the door and she sprung out of the duvet blocking his path. She was naked again and didn't care as she was writing speedily on the notepad.

Linda then raised it to his face, and his eyes deviate from her perfect body to her message.

'I can take my own bath'

He scoffed, "I wouldn't want you killing yourself with the bath system which might appear strange, Hannah will help and that's final"

She frowned and slammed the book on the ground walking away with her butt facing him.

Luca whispered to the maid," Kindly get a cloth that fits her for now"

He left them and head straight for his main bedroom with a deep sigh.

At least she still recalls how to take her bath.

Luca arrived in the room to see reporter Kimberly wearing her heels. She was ready to leave and she saw him coming through the door.

Kimberly said full of smiles, "Mr Antonio, that was the best night of my life, you were a machine"

She got to her feet approaching him.

"Yeah. I was about to ask you to leave, the maids want to do some cleaning"

The women he brings into the villa always look for opportunities to stay longer with him and he wasn't ready for strings. It's a hit-and-split thing.

She answered, "I'm leaving already, I got duty at work but anytime you want to see me, Mr Antonio, I'm always available 24/7 to satisfy you and if you ever need a dinner date--"

Luca interrupts her sharply, "I know where to find you, goodbye Kimberly"

She was no different from the other women who saw this as a golden opportunity to get hooked forever with the billionaire Luca but he never allows them.

It's called a one-night stand for a reason.

"Drop your detail with my chauffeur, I'll transfer the amount I promised"

She turned to him in shock and he said quickly, "Don't thank me, go quickly, I have some things to attend to"

Kimberly nodded and forced a smile, "Um, I couldn't find my panties and bra around, and I was wondering if..."

"Speak with my chauffeur about it, the bra is intact but you might need new panties, goodbye Miss Kimberly"

That was when she recalled that they had a session in his rolls-Royce before arriving at the building.

He was right. Her panties were damaged by him and she liked it.

As soon as she stepped out, he banged the door close and exhaled.

Could they ever stop trying to get attached to him?

Luca found his way into the shower where he took a nice bath and prepared himself for work.

He decided to dress casually today and not the usual luxurious suit he wears. This wasn't about Linda, he just choose it to be that way for today.

When he was done, he found his way to the dining room and looked into his Rolex to see the time, he wasn't late for work yet but who gives a damn.

He's the fvcking CEO.

Luca was hardly on seat as his assistant, Enid, always took care of company stuff and he paid her well for it.

He was only available when there are documents she can't sign on his behalf or meetings he decides to be present.

Breakfast was ready on the table.

Scrambled eggs, strips of crispy bacon, sausages, tomato slices but something or rather someone was missing.

Linda and the maid were not at the table yet, and that was when he realized he shouldn't have left Hannah alone with her.

What if she killed the maid with her assassin moves?

Linda was obviously pissed that he assigned the maid to help her bathe and clothe herself.

They should be here by now except--

He turned to find them when the two appeared from the corridor that connects to the dining place.

Luca sighed in relief.

The maid was alive, there was no killing.

Linda looked different now that her skin was washed. She was glowing.

He could not help but credit her dressing in his head. Hannah did a good job.

Linda was now in a red crop top that packed her breast tightly and a box pleated skirt that was short.

As long as she's clothed and not roaming unclad.

He noticed that her eyes were bluer than before. It seemed like there was a source of illumination from within and that drew his attention to stare keenly.

Luca didn't know when she approached until he could now perceive the cologne Hannah had used on her. It was quite tempting.

Was Hannah up to something he wasn't seeing?

She handed over her notepad to him and he realized she had written something down.

He collects it from her and reads it silently.

'Why are you staring at me?'

Luca couldn't help but let out a muffled laugh.

Did she just confront him?

He stared at her face from close range and she sneered, before wriggling her waist while moving away from him.

Such an attitude.
