"Dragon lord Draxler..." Nicodemus mentioned as the Lord of the dragons emerged into the dungeon alongside his wife and guards.
"I never thought someone this innocently looking could be such a monster." The old man bellowed with a sad smile comforting his face. "Your father sacrificed his life to save you from death,to save you from becoming the monster the prophecy termed you but look at you now..." Draxler uttered with disappointment expressed on his face.
"I was not born a monster,I was just a little lad whose parents were forcefully taken away because they loved him." Nicodemus paused with a saddened countenance hanging on his face.
"It is the supernatural community that made me a monster."
"We had no choice...the prophecy told us clearly that you will be our end" Draxler responded.
"So you all summoned yourselves up to kill an innocent child based on a prophecy that could even be forged?. Will you allow your unborn child die just because of a prophecy a witch brought up?." Nicodemus asked rhetorically while the others reasoned in silence. He walked closer to Draxler with a profound smile.
"But one thing I've learnt is that love makes you weak. My parents loved me greatly that they became so weak and died because of me,now all I want is to avenge their death. To destroy those who killed my parents."
"You are here to kill me,even if you do...the supernatural community have pronounced a death sentence on you." Draxler answered bravely as he stared eye to eye with Nicodemus who simply let out a brief laugh.
"I'm not here to kill you rather I'd love to forge an alliance with you,Dragon lord Draxler" Nicodemus finished with a smirk.
"What makes you think I'll help you?" Draxler scoffed.
Nicodemus stepped closer. "Because you were my father's strong companion. My mother told me the tales of your friendship and I also know my father helped you to this King of the Dragons position..." Nicodemus spoke irritatedly while the guards glared at him. "Therefore it is time you repay the favor."
"I owe you nothing!. You must be a fool to enter into a mountain of dragons ready to burn your bones to ashes!." Draxler blared already angered by Nicodemus.
Nicodemus gave a mocking laugh in response. "That was what Alpha Geraldton,Regent Beaumont said before they met their ugly fall. If you choose to be foolish then I shalt have no choice than give you a pain worse than death." Nicodemus walked slowly to Draxler's wife. "Like I said, love makes one weak. What if I put you in a position where you have to choose to save your ever beautiful wife or your weyr of dragons. I'll crush everything you love, built,to the ground and then you shalt beg for death but it will not come." Nicodemus raised his hand to feel her cheek but Draxler held him back with fury lit in his eyes.
"You are in my lair and yet you bluff!. I can kill you this instant!!!" Draxler voiced thunderously.
"Do you think I'm bluffing?." Nicodemus asked with another sinful smile filling his face. "I let myself get captured, remember?"
Draxler's eyes widened!;realization dawned on him that Nicodemus could be here with his army ready to wage a surprise attack on his land. He had to choose wisely for he heard the tales of Alpha Geraldton, the witches, werewolves which Nicodemus singlehandedly killed without fuss. Nevertheless,if he chose the wrong side he was certain the dragons would be at a disadvantage. He glanced at his guards who all seemed enveloped in uncertainties.
"By accepting this alliance it means I am also waging war against the supernatural community. I shalt only join you on your quest only if you can assure me of my Werys safety." Draxler sighed.
"Your dragons shalt be safe if only I survive this war" Nicodemus walked back to his chains. "I need to have the fairies on my side too...that way my army would be large enough."
"The fairies would never ever in a lifetime join you. Those creatures are so resolute in their resolve...of all creatures they are the only ones who believe you can be killed." Draxler paused signalling for Nicodemus to join him as they walked out of the dungeon.
Nicodemus hands curled into a fist as he grumbled; if he couldn't persuade the fairies then he would have to use his last resort, the hybrid community. Though it will be hard persuading them but he was certain he would succeed.
"At least you're proving useful now. I shalt take my leave." Nicodemus scoffed.
"Where are you going?" He asked sharply.
"None of your business!" Nicodemus retorted. "Just have it in mind that if you dare betray me..." Nicodemus turned to him with a glare.
"The earlier you stop your threats the better for you. I shalt try my best in feeding you latest update. You may take your leave now" Draxler completed the words while Nicodemus smiled in response.
"Your Queen is quite a beauty by the way" Nicodemus winked, purposely irritating Draxler once again. "We'll meet again"
"I hope you know that you have just committed treason against the community you've spent most of your life devoted too." Maria, Draxler's wife finally spoke as they both watched Nicodemus disappear amidst the mountains. "If we loose,if Nicodemus falls then this will bring great shame unto us,to your reign, this will be the end of dragons." She finished her statement with heaviness filling her tone.
He glanced at her with burden filled eyes.
"If we win, then the age of dragons shall continue, besides, what choice do I have?. If I refused Nicodemus we will not be here having this conversation..." He paused. "Perhaps he might truly put me in a position where I have to choose between you and the dragons and I'm not ready to loose you. I'm not."
She held his gaze firmly.
"If we win, then we shall become eternal slaves of Nicodemus because he will never let us go. You have just signed a slavery contract with a monster. You are our leader who should always put his people first. The leader I know once used to be selfless but the Draxler I see now has turned selfish, putting me before the entire dragon nation."
"You're a dragon and also my wife,it is my duty to protect you at all cost." Draxler defended with an hardened tone.
"By siding with a tribrid whose fate is to end us all?" She asked sharply. A confused expression hung heavily on his face.
"Alpha Barron was a great friend who always fought for the right thing. He died for his son,he believed his child had great potentials than the abomination the prophecy tagged him." Draxler sighed. "I watched my best friend die,I would never allow the blood of his legacy be spilled by my hands."
Maria maintained her silence for a while.
"This prophecy is gradually coming to pass" That was all she said before leaving him in his world of thoughts.

LAST CHAPTERThis Night would be a troubling one but it will be triumphant. Everyone that breathed in the Academy except those locked in the dungeons gathered themselves outside in the humid darkness to watch the final battle for the fate of the Supernatural world.Nicodemus stood upfront with Arthur by his side. They were all waiting patiently for the arrival of the monster. Eve. The plan is simple. Nicodemus will stab the monster's heart with the precious weapon of his parents and from there his power too will be drained off into the weapon causing the heavy magnitude of power to kill both of them momentarily. They all startled in fear as they saw Eve appear meters away before them. Arthur handed the Stake-like weapon to Nicodemus immediately."I was wrong." Arthur heard Nicodemus say. "Love isn't the weakness of a man. It is the strength. You have a good heart and I know you wo
Once the fight was over. The rest disappeared into the building while Sabrina stayed. She continued to stare at the sizeable amount of blood spilled from the monster and there was Nicodemus's too. Perhaps their blood might be of use. So she spelled two empty jars to her palms. One would be to retrieve The monster and the other for Nicodemus's.She walked to the damaged ground where plenty of the monster's blood lay. She opened the first jar before closing her eyes shut. This spell would take it's toll on her due to little energy she had left."Calicus liberie retrieva, Calicus liberie retrieva, Calicus liberie retrieva, Calicus liberie retrieva!....." She felt the little power of hers draining as the spell began it's work. The black blood rose gradually and steadily into
Dreams. Dreams are our fantasies that we want to become a reality. Even as much as we work hard towards building that perfect reality of ours, this small world we live in will always have the final say. In the end, those dreams grows from a brightly burning fire to a faint light and becomes a castle built in the air. They never come true.Arthur would say he was put in this position. A life where his dreams would never ever come true,a life where his dreams seems so faraway from reach. There she was,the lady he loves dearly crying helplessly in his arms while his friends watched with tears in their eyes too. Was this what he deserves?,a life with no peace."Look at this statues. They are a perfect work of art!."They all turned to the
"He had us played the whole time. Checkmated from the beginning." Arthur added when Sabrina finished narrating their ordeal with Nicodemus."He has a family. A happy one at that." Arthur's hand curled into a fist. The five years they spent in search for a weapon was all for nothing. While they were suffering, Nicodemus was busy the whole time enjoying his life with his family. Once his eyes fell on that adorable kid and his innocently looking mate,he lost the motivation to kill his Sire. But there was still one question left."Why did Nicodemus hesitate in killing us when he had the chance to?." He didn't know when he inadvertently voiced out his thoughts."Probably to enjoy seeing us suffer more." Vincent responded with a frown.
NEW ORLEANSFear. Fear has been the only feeling that reigned for centuries. If it isn't fear of the Tribrid then it is of death or of being dominated or of failing or of trying or of loosing someone you deeply care about. These were the feelings Nicodemus was accustomed to. He expected New Orleans supernatural community to be in great turmoil over his sudden appearance,he expected that feeling of fear but all what he was seeing were different. The communities were in great disorder. They craved for death but all that came were more suffering, pain and helplessness.Packs were already deserted, Covens were a living burial ground and Vampires a living disaster.Faith was greatly disturbed by the scenes she was viewing, thankfully Audrey was fast as
