“Now, we will divide x  and say it equals to minus x and that would be our final answer,” he wrote it on the board and covered the marker “I hope that was very understood?”

“Yes sir” we chorused as we copied the solution on the board.

“Okay, now that we understand that, I will like us to have a little quiz since I am done teaching for the day and we have like thirty-five to forty minutes to end the class.” he put the textbook down and picked up the JAMB past question booklet then skimmed through the pages

Some students groaned and muttered ‘why can't he just leave since he is done for the day’ some couldn't wait to solve some past questions, me being one of them.

“So, you guys
