Chapter eleven

ALEXA'S POV.

Four days later. (September 1st. Wednesday.)

What am I gonna do? I feel so stupid as I'm in the middle of things that I can't comprehend. Everybody around me seems to be suspicious.

My godfather. My husband. Even my friends.

Weirdly, we don't always talk like before, and I have a theory about why?

It's because they're scared that they might let something slip.

I already feel stupid, but I wonder if they actually think that I'm that stupid to not notice those kinda things.

Wait... I need to put these things together from the time my doubts all started.

I leaned back on my office chair as I circle around in thoughts searching for the time my suspicions started arousing.

Oh yeah. I was in the hospital, and they made a statement about how my pregnancy shouldn't be in the way of my going back to work. It shouldn't be suspicious, except for the fact that they changed their thoughts, and that I should wait til I give birth.
