Before I had a chance to say anything back, she had already turned on her heels and started to storm off back down the corridor. I honestly can't help but shake my head at this current situation. I kind of almost chuckled to myself, as I watched her continue to walk down the corridor with her arms crossed in front of her. Technically she was the only one who was allowed to get away with the way she spoke to me.
I overlooked it considering we didn't have our parents anymore. All those years ago, I would get on to her for talking to me in such a manner and my mother would constantly scold me. She would tell me that I should be nicer to my younger sister. Considering that our parents are long gone, I have overlooked her tone since that point, as I was harder on her when we were growing up.
