Alpha King Caspian's POV:
I couldn't exactly blame him either. It was at that same moment a small growl was heard from the deep depth of my throat as well. When that happened, I watched as she flinched but still tried to remain still in her position. The last thing I wanted to do was to scare her.
'Try to be quiet or you'll scare her!' (I urged Cash as I studied her reactions.)
'Kill. Must KILL those who did this to MATE!' (Cash almost yelled in my own head.)
'I will tend to those soon enough. For now, we need to make sure she knows she's safe. I don't want to scare her as she was earlier when we first found her.' (I made sure to point this out to Cash.)
"Are you ready to get into the water?" I asked her in a soft tone, just above a whisper.

Chapter 1: Not The Day I Expected Maisie's POV: As I was lying there, my eyes just shot open and I immediately sat up on my bed. It wasn't much of a bed.
