Chapter 22: Until You Forgive Me
I still can't believe it. Uno told me things I didn't imagine that will go out of his mouth. He always tells me comforting words and he's so understanding towards me that it almost seemed impossible. But I know, he didn't mean it. I want to believe that he said those things out of anger. He's just blinded by his emotions.
I will do everything for him to forgive me.
"Manang, is this okay?" I asked the old maid as I stir the pot of I don't know what dish, all I know is that it needs to be delicious. I shook my head.
I think this is exactly what Aliya has been doing these past few days and I swear I didn't know I will also do this. Never in my entire life I had imagined that I'll make an effort just for a man to forgive me! Heck, I will endure a day with my father but not this!
