CHAPTER 19: Sleep

DAYS passed, and I felt like I was living in a dream. Being Reeve's wife is a great feeling, no doubt. He wasn't kidding when he told me he wanted to work out our marriage. Because of his unceasing efforts, I learn how to be comfortable around him.

He was able to melt my guard down.

I smiled as I breathed through the cold night as I leaned on the railings of our balcony, watching the dark yet peaceful sky as it gave me peace after a long day of tiring work at the hospital.
