Koda arrived home and saw that his children were sitting at the dining table obediently doing their homework.

He went over to his kids and kissed them on the cheek and asked, “Why are you children so good today?”

They looked at their father, then looked at each other and remained silent, getting back to their work.

Koda shrugged it off and went looking for Helianthus and found her in the laundry room sitting on a chair and folding the clothes.

“I am back from work,” Koda said.

Helianthus yelped as she jumped up from the chair and looked at him, horrified.

“Ah, ah, welcome home si, sir,” Helianthus mumbled, afraid.

Koda raised a brow and asked, “Did something happen?”

Briar came over and hugged his father’s leg and asked, “Daddy, can we go for a run? My legs are itching.”
