Cassie stared at the guy, trying to wrap her head around what she had just heard him explain. “How is that even possible?”

“I don’t f*cking know!” He snapped. “I don’t!” He let out a shaky breath before cursing under his breath. Then he started pacing the room as if he was losing his mind, and maybe he was. “Everything is going to sh*t,” He said, finally stopping and sitting on the bed.

“Okay, let’s try to…let’s try to talk about this instead of crashing out.” She walked over to him and sat down next to him. “Let’s first talk about the sun clearing up. How do you know that? It’s literally still night.”

He looked over to her and sighed. “Okay, about the sun, I’m only guessing. I’m not too sure. But I just have this strong feeling that it’s clearing up.”
