: You ready Darling? : Magnus asked as he crouched to take off running. I yipped at him and got ready, the three of us taking off at once into the trees. We ran as fast as our paws could take us and while they were physically stronger than I, I was faster but just. Magnus was able to keep up and was only a few paces behind me, Kane just behind him. I woke the next morning to the sound of birds and the warmth of the sun on my bare skin. I stretched and groaned when I felt the aches from all over my body. The best kinds of aches and pains. I looked and found my mates asleep on either side of me, their naked bodies a tantalizing treat in the sunlight. I sat up and ran my hand through my hair, hissing at the number of tangles, twigs and leaves in the strands. I got to my feet and stretched fully, groaning as everything popped, ached and felt so much better. My skin was covered in bruises and bites and nail marks, their possession and claiming of me plain to see. The moment I was finished eating I kissed my mates and headed upstairs while they went to do some council and pack business. I looked over and watched as Brodryn stripped and effortlessly shifted into his large black dragon, the sharpness of his scales evident despite the dim light through the trees. The sun was setting and it made his dark scales stand out among the shadows of the trees. I went to him and rubbed myself along his side, much the way a cat does and a rumbling purr came from my chest as his midnight dew scent filled my senses. I groaned and rolled over, blinking so my eyes could adjust to the bright sunlight coming from the bedroom windows. I stretched in the empty bed and looked down once realizing I was still naked. I moved the blanket off me and looked down at the new mark on my skin, starting off at my hip bone and down my thigh, awfully close to my pelvis, in the dip where the hip meets the pelvis. I ran my hands over the mark and shivered as I could distantly feel Brodryn stir in his sleep from the light touch before pulling back and letting him stay sleeping.
