Vera tried to compose herself as her hands were shaking. She stumbled upon something that she wasn't supposed to see even though she had heard it in the rumors. This was her first time of ever encountering something like this. It was her last year in this school and she needed to survive till the end.

She slowly turned around to see very angry red eyes staring down at her. She was supposed to be an Omega and she was supposed to respect the person in front of her. She immediately went down on her knees, bowing her head. It was the icy cold prince, Alpha Raymond in front of her. His hands were dripping in blood.

Yes, it was blood. Vera just witnessed him kill someone while he was surrounded by his alpha friends who were also the most important Alphas in the school. They were the law in the school, which meant they were above everyone. Even if they killed someone, there wasn't anything that could be done about it by the school.

How did she manage to put herself in trouble by stumbling upon something like this? She didn't know how to answer this question. She just saw them throw someone down after killing him. There was rumors about them using powerful werewolves as a way to strengthen their power, and now that she saw it, it seemed to be true.

“I asked you a question. Where do you think you're going?” Alpha Raymond asked her again.

She was trembling really hard as all the eyes were on her. She didn't understand how she managed to get herself into trouble like this. She was an Omega, she would be useless to them. But she had already seen something that he wasn't supposed to see.

“I... I... I was just going back to my dorm. I didn't mean to interrupt what you were doing.” she managed to say.

His presence alone was enough to make her tremble. She tried to stop herself but she couldn't. Her hands were sweaty and she was very nervous. She just wanted to survive but she felt like you might not be able to do it this time around. She looked around to see the rest of them. Trying to get information about all of them from what she heard about them, because she tried everything to avoid seeing them.

Alpha Xavier, heir to the Frost River Pack, one of the most aggressive and powerful ones. He had a special ability of detecting danger from a mile away. Or maybe he just trained himself to be like that but he had a special ability other than this. Which isn't known to anyone but them.

Alpha Gerald, heir to the Moon Shadow Pack, the flirty one who has the best ability of masking his feelings and hiding what he can do. Everything that happens from him is always unexpected. He's known to flirt with every girl in school except for the lowly ones.

Alpha Vince, heir of the Royal Moon pack, a pack that was named after the royalty because they were closer to the royal family and known to protect them. He is also cousins with Raymond and also his protector even though he doesn't look like one. He's talkative and annoying. He also has his ability that he's hiding from the world, just like the rest of his friends.

Lastly, there's Alpha Brian. He's Alpha of the Flaming Red Pack, the quiet one who already became the alpha of his pack before coming to the school. Because he lost his parents already in the war and he's constantly being pushed to become the best so that he becomes second in place of the alpha King.

She was grabbed in the neck before she could continue thinking. And in the blink of an eye, she was standing on the cliff of the highest building in the school which was also close to the woods. She tried to control herself but she couldn't. No matter how much she tried to get down, she just couldn't do it at all.

Her fear increased as this wasn't what she expected at all. She spent the entire two years trying to avoid having any relation with them but now, she was going to be silenced by them because she saw something she shouldn't see.

“Stop struggling, it's going to be over soon.” Alpha Raymond said to her. “You won't be able to control yourself no matter what.”

He almost forgot that the royal family are known for their special abilities, which also included controlling other people. Her heart felt like it was going to come out of her chest. She was sweating even though it's already started raining. She didn't want to die.

“Please... Don't kill me. I didn't see anything... I promise I won't tell anyone. Please don't kill me.” she kept begging him but it seemed like he loved seeing her beg.

The rain got more intense and she would see in his eyes that he was enjoying every moment of this. She realized he was a psychopath that derived joy from killing people. But she wanted to live anyway.

“You saw something you were not supposed to see. I don't think I can let you live after that, that is my rule.” he replied to her.

She glared at him angrily, “I'm a student of the school! You have no right to kill me like this! Please let me go, it's my last year here and I'm going to avoid you, I promise.”

Before she could blink again, he was right in front of her. He was controlling her that she felt like she was going to fall at any minute. She didn't have any power and it was already so high up. She was going to hit her head on a rock or get shattered two pieces the moment she touches the ground.

“Do you think you can threaten me? I gave you time to see your last words but I'm a little bit disappointed.” he mocked her again, “It doesn't matter anyway because only the dead would keep a secret.”

Vera shook her head, “No, please no! Don't kill me, I'm begging you! Please!”

“Shut up and die!”

“No... I'm your mate! Don't—”

Her words didn't finish as she was pushed down immediately. Her body felt numb at that moment and she couldn't control anything at all as she felt herself going down. Tears streamed from her eyes, recalling how she managed to survive all these years. It wasn't supposed to be like this but now, she became everything in something she didn't know about.

She thought about her poor father who was against her coming to the school in the first place. He adopted her from a young age because he didn't know where she came from, he told her this before she came to the school. But he still did everything to protect her, treating her like his own child. She promised herself she was going to graduate and give him the best life in the world.

But now... It doesn't seem possible anymore. A bright light hovered over her as she braced herself for impact. It's going to be over soon enough.

“I'm so sorry Dad... you did everything for me but I disappointed you. I'll repay you in my next life.”
