Mag-log in“Vera! Vera!! Open your eyes!”
A muffled voice which later became loud rang in her ears. She didn't want to stand up because this must be the afterlife or her dreams. But the voice kept bothering her and shaking her up. “What do you think you're doing Vera? You're going to be late for classes! Get up already!” the voice was clearer this time and it was definitely coming from Xena, she remembered this already happened to her before. She slowly opened her eyes as bright light came in. She then close it and thought it was just her imagination as she was already dead. She was bracing herself for impact a few minutes ago, she must already be dead by now. Her body will probably be dragged away by other wild animals, or she will be found by the school after she had rotten away. “Why isn't she replying anyone? Is she feeling sick?” Andrea asked, shaking Vera again. Vera was sick and tired of hearing them talk. They were not supposed to be real and yet they were bothering her to wake up and go to classes. She was already dead, why would she want to go to any classes anymore? She angrily opened her eyes, “Can you stop bothering me when I'm trying to sleep? It's not like—” Her words were cut off when she realized they were all staring at her. That's not even what shocked her the most, she looked around her again to be sure she wasn't seeing things. She was in her dorm room and it was daytime. Her roommates were looking at her because of the way she shouted at them. This got her confused. Did those alpha bastards look for her roommates and killed them because they were related to her? She felt like she was already thinking too much about it, and she didn't want to keep thinking about things that were not important. “Xena, Andrea, Camellia...” She called as her eyes welled up in tears, “I'm so sorry. It's my fault that you all got killed. I can't believe they did this to you too.” She cried while they looked at her. She didn't understand why they were looking at her like that. Andrea call the rest of them together because they felt like their friend was acting strange. “What is going on with her? Is she going crazy?” Andrea asked them. Xena shrugged, “I honestly don't know what is wrong with her. Should we take her to see a doctor? She seems to think we are all dead.” Camellia nodded, “I knew she was going to lose her mind from studying too much one day. I thought I already told her to focus on training more.” They were busy discussing about Vera that they didn't know she already arrived behind them. She popped her head into the conversation. “Who did you say was acting crazy?” They all jumped in fright as they didn't expect her to arrive like that. She realized that they were really acting as they would when they were alive. Does this mean that they could live together since they were already all dead? “What is wrong with you? You shouldn't come up behind someone like that!” Camellia scolded her. She suddenly pulled Camellia to a hug, “I know and I'm sorry. But we already dead anyway, what should we be scared of?” Camellia pulled away angrily, “What is wrong with you? I don't know why I'm here wasting my time with you when I'm supposed to be in class!” Camellia walked off without looking back. Andrea and Xena moved closer to Vera who was still in shocked with Camellia's anger. “What is wrong with her? Is she blaming me for their death?” Vera muttered. “What death are you talking about Vera? Don't you know you're late for classes?” “Classes? Why are you still obsessed with classes when you're already dead?” Andrea shook her head, then she moved closer to Vera and give her a slap to wake her up. Andrea felt like she wasn't awake yet and she needed some jolting back to reality because she was already losing the plot. Xena gasped, “Andrea, why would you do that?” The slap was enough to wake Vera up as she felt like this was so real. This definitely wasn't coming from someone who was already dead. What was going on? She didn't understand at all. “Can't you see that she's acting very weird. She needs a wake up call.” Andrea replied Xena. Vera nodded in agreement, “She's right Xena, something is definitely wrong here. What is going on right now? Wasn't I already dead?” She touched her body all over, confusingly trying to understand what was going on. She went to the mirror to check herself and she still looked perfectly fine. She was wearing her night wear which means that she was just waking up. What time was it and what day even is this? “Are you sure you're really okay? Do we need to take you to the doctor?” Xena was definitely worried about her. She turned to look at the Xena, “What day is it today?” Xena took out to her phone which was given to them by the school and the only way they communicated with each other, because outside phones wasn't allowed. “Just look at the time and date. It's October the 2nd and we definitely just have fifteen minutes to get to class.” “What? You're telling me it's the 2nd of October?” Andrea grabbed Xena, “I'm sorry but we have to run right now. It's going to take us up to 5 minutes to get to class because you know the position of our room is very far.” Vera surely wasn't listening to them because she just heard it was the second day of October. The second day of October was the same day that she just got killed, they had a test already before and now they were telling her the time was the same day. “What's going on? I don't understand at all. How is it even possible?” “How the hell is it not possible?” Xena finally snapped at her because she couldn't take it anymore. “You better get dressed and rush to class as soon as possible. You always said your grades were important. Now, I don't think they are important to you anymore.” Xena grabbed Andrea and rushed out of the room. Vera listened to them and immediately went into the shower to take a 2-minute shower, before coming back to dress up. She rushed everything seeing that she only had five minutes left to get to class. She started running down the hallways with her bags as they was less students in the dormitory anymore. She kept thinking about it because she felt like she was going crazy and she needed that run. It was the morning of the same day she was killed which wasn't far, because it was literally a few minutes ago. She managed to get into the class right before the professor came in which was the last minute. She voice to her seat, as some of her classmates turned look at her and then focused on the professor. The professor was wearing the same dress she had already seen before, which confirmed what she was thinking. Is this some sort of time travel or what? Was everything that happened to her before a dream or was it a vision of what was going to happen the entire day? “Did I just get reborn to the same day I got killed?”The next morning arrived faster than Vera expected. She barely slept.Every time she closed her eyes, she remembered Raymond's words."You belong to me."The sentence refused to leave her head. She didn't know whether to be angry, confused, or disappointed. Maybe she was all three. She got out of bed before the sun rose. Andrea and Camellia were still asleep, so she quietly changed into her uniform, grabbed her bag, and slipped out of the room without making a sound. She wanted peace.Just one peaceful morning. The academy grounds were unusually quiet at that hour. Only a handful of students were already outside, training before classes began. Vera chose the longest route toward the cafeteria. If Raymond was looking for her again, she wasn't going to make it easy. The last few days had taught her one thing. The farther she stayed from him, the clearer her mind became.Or at least she tried to convince herself that was true. She picked up a tray of food and sat near one of the windows
The next few days passed quietly, at least on the surface.Vera made sure of that. Every morning, she left her room earlier than usual. She took longer routes to class, avoided the places Raymond normally stayed, and even changed where she ate during lunch. If she saw him from a distance, she immediately turned around before he could notice her. If one of his friends appeared first, she quietly disappeared before any of them could stop her.She wasn't going to give him another opportunity. She already made that mistake too many times. The more she thought about everything that had happened between them, the more confused she became. One moment he would tell her she wasn't worthy enough for him. The next moment he would act jealous whenever Henry got close to her. Then he would suddenly tell her that she belonged to him.If he truly believed all those things he said about her, then why couldn't he simply leave her alone? She couldn't understand him anymore.Or maybe...She never unders
Vera finally pushed him away with all the strength she could gather. She stumbled back a few steps, breathing heavily as she wiped her lips with the back of her hand. Her cheeks were burning, but this time it wasn't because she was embarrassed. She was angry."What is wrong with you?" she demanded. "Why do you keep doing this to me?"Raymond didn't answer immediately. He only kept looking at her as if he was trying to understand something himself."I don't want you around Henry," he repeated. "You are supposed to be mine and not his. I don't want you walking with him or telling him anything. In fact, don't even talk to him anymore."Vera laughed bitterly."You really are unbelievable."She took another step backward, creating more distance between them."You don't get to decide who I talk to.""I do.""No, you don't.""I said you do not belong around him."She folded her arms and stared at him."And who exactly do I belong to then?"Raymond didn't hesitate."Me."The answer made her h
Raymond looked offended that Vera was talking to him that way. She was being too respectful, and this was something that he didn't like. But she didn't care about it. She moved back from him, holding her respectful position."Are you so hateful of me now that you don't even want to see me anymore? What exactly did I do wrong for you to hate me like this? I'm very sure I haven't done anything to hurt you the past few days."Vera wanted to say something, but she decided to stop herself. She didn't want to make him mad anymore. So, she wouldn't bother telling him he did anything anyway because it wasn't worth it. But she knew he wasn't going to give up just like that. She shook her head and moved back more."Please, I'm begging you, leave me alone. I really don't want to get into trouble today. I'm just trying to get to class."Raymond looked at her without saying anything, and then he got angry. He grabbed her, angrily refusing to let her go."The entire school knows that you're mine. T
Vera felt bad, but she didn't feel that bad because she started this anyway, and she expected he was going to do something like this. But she never expected that he was going to defend Bernice after he said he wasn't interested in her. Maybe everything he said to her before was a lie, and he was just trying to save face in front of everyone. He and Bernice were actually together. She decided that maybe she had too much hope, and he was right about her. She was being presumptuous to think that he would have anything to do with someone like her.Bernice looked at her with a smile."It's good that you know what is good for you. But don't you ever try that again. You know, many people who have tried this are already down six feet below."Vera nodded her head like an obedient person."Yes, I won't try it again. Your Highness, if there's nothing else, I'm going to continue my work now."Bernice stopped in front of Vera when Vera was about to walk away. Vera was already burning inside. She w
Vera already saw Raymond coming, and she knew that it wasn't going to be easy if she wanted to fool him. The only way she could get out of this situation was to use him against himself. She already said all those things against him, and she knew that it wouldn't be long before he heard it. So, the moment she saw him coming, she decided to rush to him and pretend to be all affectionate just to watch him get mad at her in front of everyone and then confirm the rumors.Even though she knew that those rumors were not going to do much because he was the prince everyone wanted to be with after all, at least some girls would move away from him. Or maybe only the power-hungry ones would be around him. Or at least his reputation would suffer for the next few weeks. She just needed him to stay away from her until she could graduate, even though she knew that was nearly impossible."What exactly are you trying to do right now?" Raymond sounded very furious. She moved closer to him with a mischie

Vera tried her best to listen in class and also work well on her test. She still didn't believe she was reliving the day and she still thought that this might be a result of her death. She still had lingering attachments in this world and school was one of them. There's no way it was possible for
Vera tried to compose herself as her hands were shaking. She stumbled upon something that she wasn't supposed to see even though she had heard it in the rumors. This was her first time of ever encountering something like this. It was her last year in this school and she needed to survive till the e
“Get him! Don't let him leave!” Those people chasing each other ran through the school again while the students weren't concerned. It wasn't the first time something like this was happening, they were used to things like this already. Vera watched this in the a corner as she was trying to study s
