Jade didn't waste a single second. The moment she realized she couldn't win her argument with Mina, she ran straight to Zion. Her high heels clicked on the floor like loud warning bells. She practically burst into his home office, out of breath.

“Mina… she… she used your card!” Jade stammered. She pointed her finger in the air like she was trying to stop a bomb from going off. “She spent it on herself and her friend!”

Zion leaned back in his big chair. He raised one eyebrow, looking calm. “Oh?” he said. His voice was quiet, but inside, his heart was racing with anger.

“Yes! Millions of dollars, all gone in just one day!" Jade cried out. Her eyes were wide, and she waved her arms around.

Zion pinched the bridge of his nose and sighed. “Jade… slow down.” He let out a long breath, trying not to lose his temper. “So she used my card without asking? What exactly did she buy?”

“Clothes, shoes, expensive perfumes… everything! She went shopping like she owned the whole city,” Jade’s voice got louder and higher. “And she even brought her friend along!”

Zion hit his hand lightly on the desk. Just thinking about Mina walking around spending his money made his blood boil. “She’s bold. Very bold. Why did she think she could touch my card without asking me first?"

Jade blinked, and tears started to fill her eyes. She looked like she was about to cry, which always made Zion want to protect her.

“I'm sorry if I scared you,” Zion said. His voice was tight and controlled. Jade shook her head slowly as the tears finally fell down her face. Zion reached out and pulled her into a hug to comfort her.

"She even embarrassed me in public," Jade sobbed. "She called me a leech and a mistress in front of everyone!"

Zion’s jaw tightened. He was filled with pure rage. He had told Mina to stay in her place, and now she was doing this. He decided he really needed to teach her a lesson she wouldn't forget.

By the time Mina got home, the sun was going down. Long shadows stretched across the living room floor. Zion was standing right in the front hallway with his hands in his pockets, waiting for her.

Mina walked in like she owned the mansion. She had shopping bags swinging on her arms and a big smile on her face.

“Up so soon, Your Highness?" she joked. "Or should I call you the Lord of the Black Card?”

Zion didn't find it funny. His eyes narrowed. “Mina.”

His voice was heavy with the anger he had been holding in all morning.

“Explain to me why you took my card without asking. You went on a huge shopping spree for yourself and your friend. Why?”

Mina’s grin didn't go away. She tilted her head and tossed her hair.

“Oh, that? I just thought it was a fair thing to do. I mean, you did marry me. I’m just using my rights as your wife.”

Zion felt a spark of fury, but he kept his voice steady.

“Being a wife doesn't mean you can spend millions without asking. Millions, Mina. Do you understand how much that is?”

Mina hummed a little tune. She tossed her bags onto the couch. Then, she pulled out her marriage license and flipped it open like it was a shield.

“Since when do I have to bow down and ask for permission to use money?" she asked. Her voice was full of sarcasm. "I'm the mistress of this house. Let’s remind everyone who is actually in charge here.”

Jade was peeking from around the corner in the hallway. She looked like she wanted to smile because Mina was in trouble, but she also looked annoyed.

Mina kept talking, her voice mocking him. “And if you really have a problem with it, darling, you can always take me to court. You can sue me. Let’s see if a judge takes your side or your wife's side.”

Then she lowered her voice and teased him. “Go ahead. Tell your little mistress that using your card is shameful. I dare you.”

Zion opened his mouth to argue, but he was so shocked he couldn't get the words out. Mina didn't care. She ignored him and started walking to her room with all her new "treasures." As she passed Jade, she gave her a playful wink just to make her mad. Zion watched her go and wondered if marrying her was a huge mistake.

A few hours passed. Mina got hungry, so she went into the kitchen to cook some noodles. These weren't normal noodles, they were the kind that had a very strong, stinky smell. Some people love them, but most people want to run away or gag when they smell them.

In just a few minutes, the stinky smell filled the whole house. It went into every room.

Jade’s voice yelled out from upstairs. She sounded disgusted. “What is that horrible smell?!”

Zion groaned. He walked out of his room, pinching his nose. He and Jade both came downstairs to see what was happening. Zion didn't know whether to be angry or just shocked. He finally decided to just be annoyed. He had learned that he could never win an argument against Mina because she was too sharp and stubborn, so he stayed quiet.

Mina went back to the living room and flopped down on the couch. She turned on a movie on the giant TV and started eating her bowl of noodles. She took a loud, long slurp. Her eyes sparkled with mischief as she looked at Jade and Zion. They were standing there looking totally grossed out. They had never smelled anything so bad in their lives, and they couldn't believe anyone would actually eat it.

“Finally, dinner is ready,” Mina said happily. She looked at them and shrugged. “If you can't stand the smell, you can always leave. It takes hours for this smell to go away.”

Jade and Zion looked at each other. They were stuck between being mad and being totally confused. The smell was just too much for them to handle.

“Jade, go get our coats,” Zion muttered. “Let's find a hotel or somewhere else to stay for the night. I can't stay here.”

Jade did what she was told. They both ran out of the mansion as fast as they could, like they were running away from a ghost.

Mina sat back and relaxed. She felt very satisfied. For once, the whole house belonged to her. There were no annoying people to bother her.

She didn't have anything to do the next day, so she stayed up late. she watched movies and ate snacks until she fell asleep on the couch at 1:00 AM. She was so tired that she forgot to clean up the mess on her snack table.

The house was quiet for a few hours. But early the next morning, Mina was woken up by a very loud, high-pitched scream from Jade.

“ZION! LOOK AT THIS MESS! IT’S DISGUSTING!”

Mina opened one eye and groaned. The peace and quiet were definitely over.

Mina woke up at the crack of dawn to the certainty which was represented by the screeching sound of Jade's voice that the end of the calm and peaceful moment she'd enjoyed the previous day had arrived. On the up side though, she'd forgotten to wash the dishes she'd used the previous night which meant the house was currently saturated with the stench that both jade and Zion couldn't stand, what this translated to was that she just might have earned herself a couple more days alone in this sprawling mansion. Mina slowly sat up from her sleeping position and looked in their direction, on one hand Zion stood by the door mortified with his hand to his nose in an attempt to block out the smell, on the other hand was Jade looking up at Zion and intermittently turning to throw glares her way, one hand pinching her nose and the other pointing at her indignantly. Mina absolutely didn't care though, she yawned and wiped the drool off her face and said, "Oh you're back?" ~ Zion woke before

The sun was already high, warm, and practically daring me to storm out and make someone miserable. Perfect. I left the mansion with one goal: coffee first, chaos later. The breakfast café was small but cozy, the kind of place that served proper coffee and toast without any judgment. I slid into a corner seat, pulled out my phone, and let myself relax for the first time all morning. The barista brought my cappuccino with a delicate swirl of foam and a slice of toast with butter melting just so. I savored every bite, feeling the caffeine and carbs resurrect me from the wedding-day hangover of etiquette and forced smiles.By the time I was done, I was buzzing with energy, the kind of energy that comes when you realize you’re about to do exactly what you want, consequences be damned. I slipped my shades on and made my way to the mall, where my best friend was waiting, practically bouncing in place.“Finally!” she cried. “I thought I’d have to come storm the mansion and drag you out myself
