Chapter 15

Ryan's POV

I got up earlier than usual because I had to train and strategies about our plan,we had to ambush the rogues without causing alarm. If the elders found out that some rogues were sniffing around in the pack it would cause me a lot of headache.

What was still a mystery to me was how they were able to come in without notice.

Unless someone in the border gave them entry? But that was impossible a wolf will never side with a rogue not to mention betraying his or her pack.

I heard chattering coming from the kitchen and I knew Susan and Tasha was there. Tasha had prove herself to be different from other women,she did the chores, wake up early it was just a natural thing for her.

Within a short period she had grown close to Lisa,the guys didn't have a problem with her except Connor who still put a wall around her.

I entered the kitchen to make coffee, Tasha noticed my presence she turned to face me her mouth wide open.She stared shamelessly at my body I was shirtless since I just came out of the training room.

Are you done ogling me?” I cleared my throat and moved to the coffee machine.

Tasha's face went all red like tomatoes she immediately turned her back on me.I smirked she was indeed affected by my body.

“Good morning Alpha.” Susan chuckled

“Good morning Susan.” I made my coffee and left the kitchen.

“Good morning Ryan.” Xavier greeted me as I entered the training room.

“Good morning,where are the others?” I frowned, when I saw that he was the only one in the room.

“Guess, they are still asleep.” He pulled a bag and started arranging our weapons.

“Have they forgotten we have some rogues to kill.” I took out my phone and called Connor.

“Yes.” His voice was hoarse, meaning he was still on bed.

“I give you five minutes to get your ass down here,and drag Dante and Liam along with you.” I ended the call.

They all rushed in at the same time their disheveled,I pulled out a map and discussed the plan with them.

“First we have to get the children away from there Incase they might want to use the children as hostage.” I informed.

“Why not shut down the park for today?” Liam supplied.

“Connor, make that happen no parents should take their pup to the park today.” I ordered Connor and he started making calls.

“What is still strange is that they haven't made a move.” Xavier stared at the video of the rogues in the building.

“How many are they in total?” Dante asked.

“Ten” He answered.

“How on earth did Ten freaking rogues enter my pack!!” I thought it was two or three but Ten that's on another level.

I turned to face Xavier “I need you to watch every patrol guard and inform me of anything suspicious.

Now we have to be very careful about our plan, one rogue on the loss can screw us up not to talk of ten.

“We have to sneak up on them, not even one must escape we'll kill nine of them only.”

“What about the remaining one?” Liam asked.

“We'll bring him to the basement for questioning.” I answered.

Xavier turned to face me “When are we leaving?”

“Now.” I responded and they all groaned.

“Can we please have something to eat before leaving?” Liam pleaded.

I sighed,I was hungry also. I agreed and we matched to the dinning to eat before leaving.

“Is something wrong with the food?” Xavier spoke up and we all looked up to see who he was talking to.

Tasha was staring at her food, did she not like it?

No, I'm just feeling nauseous.” She answered.

Nauseous? Maybe it's the side effects of her medications.

“I'll call Luke.” I took out my phone.

“No, I will be fine.” She gestured.

I nodded and we all continued eating untill she stood up all of a sudden and ran to her room. Lisa also stood up but I stopped her from following her.

“I'll go.” I stood up and followed Tasha

I entered her room and heard Tasha throwing up,I waited for her to be done since I couldn't barge inside the bathroom.

You scared me!”She yelled as soon a she saw me standing outside.

“Are you sure you don't want Luke to come over?” My eyebrows furrowed.

“It's normal for a pregnant woman to throw up, you don't have to disturb him.” She answered.

I forgot about the part that she was pregnant,so she was going to throw up everytime? I sighed she needed love and pampering at this period. I felt bad for her the father of her child should be there for her and now he is dead.

“If you say so.” I rembered the phone I got for her and brought the case from my pocket.

“What's this?”

“A phone.” I answered.

“A phone?” Her eyes widened.

“Go on open it.”

She tore the case open and brought the phone out,she scowled at me as soon as she saw the model.

“Isn't this too expensive?” She pushed the phone back to me.

“I want you to have it.” I pushed it back to her.

“I feel guilty.” She bowed her head.

She was guilty? I should be the one feeling guilty I took advantage of her drunk state not knowing she was a virgin.

“Why?” I lifted her chin so I could look into her blue orbs.

“Because I'm a burden and-”

“Did I ever tell you that?” I snapped.

“Trust me,even if you want to buy the whole city it won't make a dent in my pocket.” I smirked.

“Luke will come check you when he's done in the hospital.”I told her before leaving.

I went back downstairs and met Xavier and Dante arguing.

“What's wrong?” Xavier never gets into a fight that means Dante must have angered him.

“Dante ate Natasha's food?” He answered.

“You glutton what if she comes back for it.” I scolded.

“I told him no to!”Lisa added.

“She won't,it seems she doesn't have appetite.” Dante retorted.

“Can we stop arguing about food and let's go.” Connor and Liam came down with the bag of weapons.

I quickly sipped my tea and followed them outside, and we drove off to the children park.
