They walked hand in hand around the village while a surprisingly warm smile is plastered on both of their faces.
They heard shouts and crying as they passed by a residence. As there are so many people swarming around, their curiosity is piqued, and they decide to probe what is going on.
“What is going on here?” An elderly woman asked.
“I heard that the eldest daughter of the village head was beaten up by someone today” a middle aged man answered
“Who would be so courageous as to dare to beat that daughter of the village head?”
The man shrugged his shoulders “I didn’t hear the details. I only know that the woman was also residing here in the village”
As she heard the rumors, Lian wanted to dragged Zeus away from there. Why is that? It is because she knows that she the only woman who dares to beat the eldest daughter of the village head. It would be a problem if that woman were to saw them.
