"Yes."
Dante blinked as he stared at Natalie, his eyes widened slightly.
"Natalie, I said I have something to tell you."
She frowned. "Something more important than my answer?"
He suddenly realized what she meant. "No, my love."
"Then my answer is yes," she smiled at him.
He slipped the ring into her finger as she admired it, tears glistening in his eyes. This was not how he had planned this night.
He had wanted to tell her the truth about everything, apologize to her, get her forgiveness before allowing her to wear his ring but she had insisted.
