Jasper It was slowly but surely getting closer and closer to my birthday. I hadn't liked my birthday but this was the cherry I didn’t need on this horrible day. I had been strategizing how I would run the pack with Amaya and Chloe, ideally, it would be Amaya but I needed to plan for the worst. Amaya The drive back to the barrier was like a breath of fresh air. There wasn’t any chaos, no one to tell us what we were meant to be doing; just us alone. Sadly, we didn’t get to stay in the hotel as long as I had hoped, but being with Jasper was all I had wanted. When we pulled up to the barrier entrance, it seemed different than when we had come. Amaya I didn’t know whether to consider the coronation as a wedding or a very overdressed prom. Erica took me outside the barrier to get a dress that the people of the town didn’t make. Jasper I knew it was coming, I tried to prepare myself but in that moment nothing mattered. The pain that was on her face and the emotions that radiated off of her was enough for me to know that the pain was more than she could handle.
