Getting Ready

POV Kitty

I could feel the power flow through me. I turned to my Grandmother and she grinned at me. I was surprised that I could feel my family. I couldn't link them like a werewolf but I could still feel them like a tickle in the back of my head. I couldn't feel their feelings or hear their thoughts but I could feel their love and support towards me. I could even feel my Aunt Sally. She radiated pride towards me as did the rest of my family.

"This is amazing." I gushed and my Aunt Sasha grinned back at me.

"Try casting something." she suggested.

"Like what?" I asked and she shrugged.

"Anything." she retorted.

{Say this} my inner voice spoke up.

I repeated the words and suddenly the water from a nearby pitcher flew up and seemed to roll itself in a ball. I grinned as did my cousins, Sammy, Cash, Locke, Tommy and uncles but my aunts and grandmother looked confused.
