ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ
Heavy pairs of feet thudded as I continued to run, the gravel under the scorchimg sun was nothing but an addition in my struggle to escape. The deserted road was deprived of an aid, someone who could ward off these murderous people. Why are they following me?
Abruptly a blurry image of man appeared from the very direction I was running to as I stumbled to a stop. My breathing ragged, the burning in my lungs and hightened rhythm against my ribs had me gasping for air.
Where do you think you were escaping? - echoed a heavily accented voice through my mind.
THIRD PERSON POV. It had been two weeks since Jayden's return from his trip to France. The photos clicked were circulated and reached the Palace in Orbloem. Confirming the two Princes's stay in France, Edward let out a sigh of relief. However there was still something nagging in the back of his head and of course he ignored it because of his detoriorating health. He had more important matters to deal now that death was approaching. Matters relating to his succession. Rules were implied nationwide on the usage of internet as well as expression of Ideas and Opinion. So the people of Orbloem were unaware of anything happening in the outer world. The Health and Education system declined gradually. It had been nearly 20 years since the dethroning of King Henry of Orbloem but the people of Orbloem still wished that their long lost King and Queen would resurface and save them from this tyranni
THIRD PERSON POV. "Please come in." Jayden spoke, more like pleaded.Jayden's voice pierced through Rosaleigh's foggy mind as she comprehended her situation.I shouldn't have come and disturbed Alex's sleep. - Rosaleigh thought. However she didn't miss the reading glasses Jayden was wearing, which indirectly meant she hadn't disturbed his sleep. She took a minute to analyse his features. His dirty blonde hair was a mess as if Jayden had ran his hand through them quite a number of time, a habit he did when stressed.I doubt he noticed it himself.- Rosaleigh thought as her eyes fell on her hands remembering the reason of her visit. The picture."Alex, these...yo.. your notes... " she started in an effort to tell him how she found the photo. But istead of letting her complete Jayden
THIRD PERSON POV. Jayden cleared his throat returning his attention at Rosaleigh before he hesistantly took her hand waiting for her to repulse his touch. Though Rosaleigh on the other hand was attentive, observing his every move, she didn't retrive her hands actually liking the way his warmth spreaded through her. His touch had magically came with a hint of tranquility. "As you know our families are old family friends..." Jayden paused abruptly gauging her reactions, anticipating Rosaleigh's sudden black out. Thankfully it didn't come. Reading his worried expression Rosaleigh dreaded remenescing a bad memory, The photo was full of smiles - she comforted herself before silently urging Jayden to proceed, the pause was causing her heart to go through an overdrive. "So every year our parents celebrated Christmas toget
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉThe next morning I walked down from my room leading to the dining area. A part of me eager to start the day. Dad was seated at the head of the dining table hiding behind his broad sheets while Mama took her seat adjacent to his. The dining area smelled of freshly baked Cinnamon rolls. Mama never baked them until it was Christmas and currently we were in mid year. Not that I complained, I've been a fan of Cinnamon rolls. I looked around the table in an attempt to find my favourite rolls. When I spotted them, I broke into a run half way through my way. Halting I grabbed a cinnamon roll and was about to devour it when my gaze fell on Mama. She was no longer sitting but standing and carefully observing my moves, a hand on her chest. My sudden run must
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ The days flew by smoothly, most of them were spent in the cafeteria. The year was coming to an end, the cafeteria was buzzing with students sharing the lasts of their beautiful memories trying to capture everything in their cameras. The boy band completed their song as the cafeteria resonated with claps and hoots of appreciation. Students had set a small stage in the center surrounding the tables, while many showcased their hidden talents. "Alex why don't you sing?" Grace prompted, munching a chip ignoring the pair of girls that ascended the stage for a dance duel. "Yes that day you missed your performance." Lucy piped in as Adam and Luke agreed in unison, I recalled the day I had my last blackout. Alex turned deaf ears to their pleas focusing his attention on
ROSALEIGH ISABELLE The hall reverberated with another round of applause as the announcer continued with his commencing speech. With bated breath, I moved forward towards the main stage. Currently, all the students stood backstage. It was our graduation day. The internship for our batch was to be conducted after a four-weak break. It would be a 24 weeks program in one of the best hospitals around Nashville. My eyes darted towards Gracelyn and Lucille, as we stood ahead in the queue according to the alphabetic order of our names. I was behind Remus Lynn while Alex was in the upfront with Adam. His blue ceremony gown ending near his ankles where his blue jeans was visible. They seemed into a deep conversation. Amanda Chris
ROSALEIGH ISABELLÉ Mama had promised a Graduation feast for us as they were the only parents that had attended the Graduation ceremony for all my friends including Luke and Adam as well. Thus the following sunday night we headed out for dinner. Entering the Diner we walked towards the VIP section where a table for eight was set near the pool. Mama had pre-ordered dishes like Lobster with buckwheat piklets and avacado, Radicchio salad with orange and walnut dressing, lemon chicken with steamed rice, red and white wine to flush everything down. "Aunt Rachel thanks for the Austrailian cuisine I love it." Grace sighed taking her seat. Grace was very picky when it came to food unlike any of us and thus Mama made a note to keep everything Austrailian
JAYDEN ALEXANDER. It was first time in past two weeks after our graduation when Rosaleigh had agreed to get out of the house. Everytime we planned an outing Rosaleigh faked illness or found some weird excuses. It was as if she was hiding in the house from something. Today too she had made a point she wouldn't go out in the city so Grace came up with the idea of a movie night at her place. I was glad to have Grace here, she was really helpful when it came to Rosaleigh. During the ride, Rosaleigh kept glancing around as if trying to spot something or someone. After I asked her what's the matter, she replied with an insouciant shrugg before shrinking in the passenger seat.
