2. Banished from pack

Lian's POV

I felt intense pain in my stomach. My hands clutched it tightly, and I didn’t have the strength to fight back. My vision blurred, and I closed my eyes.

The next moment, when I opened them, sunlight reached my eyes, making it hard to keep them open. I blinked a few times and sat up, realizing I was lying on the road.

I looked around, there was no one nearby. When I glanced at myself, I saw my clothes torn and my body covered in injuries.

Just as I was about to stand, I heard snickering from the forest. I turned toward the trees.

Four guys, sons of the betas, stepped out. They were wearing the uniforms of our pack’s academy.

A chill ran down my spine when I noticed blood around me. My pants were torn, and dried blood coated my thighs, it had flowed from my buttocks.

No… no, what I was thinking couldn’t have happened. Josh was the one who had done this.

Then a wave of memory rushed back, how I had woken up last night when Josh had his way with me. When he was done, he had left in his car, leaving me there in that position.

Then another car had pulled up, and those four guys came out. They had done things to me… that was when I had passed out.

My whole body trembled. “You bastards,” I cursed. They moved toward me, a phone in one of their hands, showing me a video of what they had done to me.

“You have such a good body. We didn’t stop almost all night. And you know what? If you tell anyone, we’ll leak this video on the pack’s online page. If you don’t want that, keep your mouth shut,” one of them said.

After looking at me with those disgusting eyes, they got into their car and drove off.

I glanced around. My body ached, even my wolf was angry, but there was nothing I could do in this situation.

I removed my shirt and wrapped it around my waist since my pants were torn.

Pain coursed from my face to my whole body as I started walking toward my house through the pack’s territory.

“Look at him! Where is he going, coming back like this?” a whisper reached my ears.

“I always knew he was weird, being a guy with such a small body. And now he’s spreading his legs for anyone? He’s sick. What if his illness spreads to our boys?” another added.

They were saying I was ill. Couldn’t they see I was forced into this?

I clenched the shirt tied around my waist, keeping my eyes on the ground. With weak steps, I finally reached home.

As I opened the door, my father, my stepmother, and Arin, my stepbrother, were standing there.

“What did you do last night?” my father shouted. He could see my condition, yet all he did was glare at me. “You are nothing but a stain on our name!”

Arin hugged my father’s arm. “Dad, calm down. Look at Lian, his whole body shows how much he likes taking men. He’s really ill.

How can he like another guy when he only likes himself? It’s disgusting,” Arin said, his eyes filled with disgust as they stared at me.

“Are you blind? Can’t you see what condition I’m in? Does it look like I enjoyed this? Why don’t you go and get fucked too?” I spat out.

My father rushed forward and slapped me across the face. Blood filled my mouth from the impact.

I scoffed. “I really thought you would change, that you’d start loving me again like before. But no, you didn’t change. Instead, you’ve been hating me more and more. I hate you too. You despise me,” I said, retreating to my room.

After going inside, I first went to the bathroom to wash myself. The water stung my body. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I burst into tears.

My whole body was covered in bruises and injuries. I sat there crying, wondering why this happened to me, why it had to be me.

Why does the Moon Goddess hate me so much? First, she created me as a cursed one who would never shift in my entire life. I’m not better than humans, it’s just that I can see the difference between shifters and humans.

The Moon Goddess… she has been playing with me all this time. If she didn’t like me, she shouldn’t have created me at all.

After taking a bath, I came back to my room. Just then, I heard a knock on the door. When I opened it, I saw my father standing there with my stepmother.

The moment I saw them, they suddenly covered my face with a sack. I panicked and threw my fists, but they grabbed me tightly.

I didn’t know where they were taking me, but it felt like they were planning to kill me.

It’s okay. I have endured enough. Maybe it’s time for me to say goodbye.

Something was shoved into my mouth. I couldn’t shout because my mouth was stuffed with a rag.

“We don’t have any relationship with Lian anymore. You can banish him from the pack,” my father said.

“Do not let anyone know what happened last night. If you do this, today you will get your rank back,” another voice said.

It was Josh’s voice.

Don’t tell me they are banishing me quietly just to get their rank back. My father is trash. Tears streamed down my face.

After a while, the sack was removed from my head, and the rag was taken out of my mouth. My vision was still blurry. I blinked a few times and realized I was inside a car trunk.

Josh’s assistant stood in front of me. He pulled me out and threw me onto the ground. That was when I saw the sign,

Blood Pack Border Path.

The Blood Pack is our enemy pack. Many members of our pack who went there were slaughtered.

Before I could even process anything, Josh’s assistant got into his car and drove away. I was all alone. On both sides of the road was dense jungle.

With great effort, I stood up. My whole body was still in pain. Without wasting any more time, I started walking toward the Blood Pack’s border path.

I had heard it was a very large pack. From this jungle path, one could directly reach their territory.
