Lian's POV

I was completely fine, so Ken discharged me from the hospital and personally dropped me in front of the academy.

“That’s all I can help with, buddy. From here, you have to be on your own,” Ken said from inside the car.

I stood outside the car, right in front of the Mian Academy entrance gate, and turned back at his words.

“Thank you for helping me, Ken. Let’s meet again in the future, if it’s possible,” I said, waving my hand.

Ken smiled and drove away. I turned back and looked ahead.

I took a deep breath and went inside through the entrance gate. As I stepped in, I saw a long road where expensive cars and sports bikes were parked. Am I on the right path? I wondered as I kept moving forward.

Just then, I saw the Mian Academy building. It was huge, almost like a castle. Just like the magic schools we see on TV, with tall towers and a grand, castle-like structure. This academy was the same.

It looked incredibly royal.

My steps stopped, and I stood there right in front of Mian Academy because I didn’t know where to go from here or whom to ask about the welfare student program. Ken didn’t know either, since he had never studied at this academy.

This year, all the senior students had graduated, so every batch in the academy consisted of new students who had enrolled this year. I was lost in my thoughts, standing there with my arms folded near my chest.

Just then, someone touched my shoulder from behind. I flinched and glanced back in surprise. A girl was standing there.

She had pink hair. Unlike her, I had blond hair and blue eyes. The girl was beautiful and even shorter than me.

“Hey, are you here to fill out the welfare program form to take the exam?” she asked.

My eyes brightened. “Yes, you’re right. But how did you know I was here for the welfare program?” I asked.

“Oh, because I filled out the form yesterday. I was all alone here, other welfare students weren’t talking to me. I guessed from your clothes that you were also going to apply for the welfare program,” she said.

I looked at her and smiled awkwardly. I could understand why she guessed from my clothes, was it because I was wearing cheap clothes?

And why weren’t the other welfare students talking to her? I had thought welfare students would at least talk to each other, since they all came from similar backgrounds.

“Hello, my name is Lian. And yours?” I asked, introducing myself.

She smiled.

“My name is Eva. Pleasure to meet you, Lian. But why are you standing here instead of going in?” she asked.

“Actually, I didn’t know where to go. It’s my first time here,” I explained.

She was so kind, she took me inside with her. As we walked in, I saw many students moving through the hallways, but when their eyes fell on us, disgust flashed across their faces. They whispered to each other while staring at us.

I didn’t have the energy to pay attention to them. I just needed to pass this exam at any cost. So I turned my head ahead. As we moved forward, we reached the teachers’ office.

“Lian, let’s go inside,” Eva said, and we both entered after seeking permission.

Inside, every teacher sat at a separate desk, almost like their own personal office. Eva grabbed my hand and guided me toward Grey Sir’s desk. She smiled at him.

“Oh, Eva! You don’t have an exam today, so what are you doing here?” he asked.

Grey Sir didn’t look very old, probably in his thirties. He had dark hair and dark eyes, sitting at his chair while working in a register book.

“Grey Sir, this is Lian. He also wants to apply for the welfare student program,” Eva explained.

Grey smiled at me while still sitting in his chair, looking up. We both stood near his desk.

“So, Lian, you want to join the welfare program too, right? Can you tell me more about your interests, what you like the most?” he asked.

I had no real answer. I didn’t have anything I liked the most. I just wanted to join the academy because I had nowhere else to go.

But I couldn’t say that; they might not even give me an application form if he found out.

“I… like dance,” I replied. From childhood, the only thing I had ever liked was dancing, especially contemporary dance.

But my father had never allowed it. He used to beat me and tell me to stop dancing.

Everyone who saw me dance criticized me, saying I was bad. After that, I never danced in front of anyone, and as I grew up, I forgot about it.

When I got my first shift on my birthday, I really thought I would find my mate, but Josh found me instead. And I didn’t reject him. I probably should have.

But nothing is going to change, no matter how much I regret now. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Grey Sir.

He smiled and handed me the form. I filled it out while standing there, and Eva helped me along the way. When I was done, I handed the form back to Grey Sir.

“Thank you for filling out the form. Your exams are tomorrow, so you can go ahead and rest for now,” Grey Sir said.

I was shocked. Exams are tomorrow? If that’s the case, where will I go today? What will I eat? While I was lost in these thoughts, I felt a touch on my hand. I glanced at Eva, she had grabbed my hand and was leading me out of the office.

“Let’s go to the welfare students’ quarters,” she said.

I didn’t ask any questions and followed her. We walked outside the building, turned to the right, and kept going.

Soon, we reached a building hidden near the forest. It didn’t look fancy, just average.

I realized that this is where students who applied for the welfare program stay until the exam.

Lian's POV I quickly turned around and saw a chest. I glanced up and saw Andrew there."Where are you rushing off to in such a hurry, Lian?""Oh, Andrew! I was going to the dorm. And you are here because of the carnival, right?"He nods at my words and then lets go of my hand while smiling. Looking at him, I remembered that I am so close to these four brothers without even knowing anything about them. And I don't feel uncomfortable with them either. It's like they are someone very close to me."Well, I was here as the alpha of the pack, but I wanted to meet you. That's why I was about to ask someone about your dorm room, but then I saw you, surprisingly," he said.I smiled. "I am glad to hear that, and if you haven't had lunch yet, do you want to eat with me in the cafeteria? We have such delicious food these days in the cafeteria. Well, meals are always delicious in the cafeteria."I replied while thinking about the food. I had breakfast alone today since the twins were not talking

Lian's POV As I asked them, they both glanced at each other and then smiled. But I was still confused."Nick, it's your fault. You had to state those words, so explain to Lian now, on your own now," Jack said. And he comes and stands by my side while looking at Nick. And Nick stands there thinking for a few minutes, then finally Nick looks up and moves forward. As he came towards me, his smile disappeared, and he wore a serious expression. What I found out from him was truly unexpected.I hadn't thought it could be true: that the twins loved me, not as a joke, but for real. And even Jack, too, I think that's why he kissed me that day.Since the three of them loved me, they decided to ask for my opinion as to whom I loved the most. They wanted to leave the decision to me.But I was more shocked to learn that Jack was the twins' older brother. This means he was the second brother among those four. That's why Jack hadn't shown his face to anyone this whole year with his brothers. He sta

Lian's POV As the race began, I honestly thought Arin would run fast, but no, he was slower than a snail. The moment he started running, he tripped and his face greeted the ground. It was so funny that I bit my lip, curling it inward, trying to stop myself from laughing… but I still ended up laughing anyway.Everyone else was sprinting ahead. Just then, I saw Arin standing right in front of me, glaring. His expression clearly showed how furious he was.“What?” I asked. The way he was looking at me was already irritating enough.“You were laughing at me, you bitch. Have you forgotten your place? How dare you laugh at me?”I rolled my eyes. How dare I? As if I was scared of him or something.“Arin, you’re beneath me. Did you forget how you always wanted whatever was mine? You like trash I’ve used, don’t you?”After saying that, I realized the twins were standing on either side of me. They must have heard me, of course they did. They’re going to ask questions now… and I really don’t wan

Lian's POV I stood up from the chair and glanced at Mick.“Where should we go now?” I asked.I didn’t know what to do next or where to go. There were plenty of competitions that were going to take place today, and today was only the first round. Whoever won would move to the second round, then the third, followed by the semi‑finals and finals. This arrangement was for the sports competition. Both Mick and Nick stood up as well.“We’re going to the ground right away. The competitions will start soon,” Nick said, sliding his mobile into his pocket.I smiled at Nick. He started walking out from the row of chairs. Mick followed behind him, and I walked right after Mick. But just then, my hand was suddenly grabbed from behind, making me halt. I glanced back and saw Arin was the one holding my hand. His eyes weren’t on me; he was looking at the twins instead.“What the hell is your problem?” I asked, jerking my hand out of his grip.I stepped out from the chair and stood facing him, glarin

Lian's POV In the while when I woke up, I realized I was lying on a bed. The sound of someone talking was reaching my ears, but my eyes kept closing again and again, so I couldn’t see whose voice it was.I blinked a few times to clear my vision and saw Nick and Mick sitting on each side of me.Just then, I remembered everything, how I had begged Jack to touch me because I was having a hard time… and how Jack and I kissed.I remembered that kiss very well. He was kissing me as if he wanted to devour me alive. But I did it, I kissed Jack. I had never thought, not even in my dreams, that I would do something like that with him. But honestly… that kiss was really good. For the first time in my life, I felt that a kiss could be this good. My cheeks flushed just thinking about it.“Kitty, you’re awake! I was worried about you. Thank God you’re awake now!” Nick said.I glanced at him. Nick was looking at me with a worried expression.“Nick, Mick, what are you both doing here?” I asked.Mick

  • The Omega They Can’t Resist   45. Carnival- 3

Jack's POV Things had been hectic since morning because the carnival was starting today. I had been busy from the moment I woke up. After getting ready, I began arranging everything.I wanted to meet Lian too. It felt like I was missing him, not the way I missed my brothers, but in a completely different way. My heart ached whenever I didn’t see him.But he was my student. It was wrong to have such thoughts about him. Very wrong. I had been feeling like this for the past few months, and it was as if I had fallen for him. My feelings only kept increasing with time.Whenever I touched him while teaching dance moves, I wanted to pin him down so badly, to see him beneath me, crying and begging. And now, while I was inspecting everything today, I found Lian. The moment he saw me, he started crying. While hugging me, he glanced up, not realizing that his words and those teary eyes had already fired me up. From the way he was crying, I knew someone must have done something to him, something
