LOGINLian's POV
I was completely fine, so Ken discharged me from the hospital and personally dropped me in front of the academy.
“That’s all I can help with, buddy. From here, you have to be on your own,” Ken said from inside the car.
I stood outside the car, right in front of the Mian Academy entrance gate, and turned back at his words.
“Thank you for helping me, Ken. Let’s meet again in the future, if it’s possible,” I said, waving my hand.
Ken smiled and drove away. I turned back and looked ahead.
I took a deep breath and went inside through the entrance gate. As I stepped in, I saw a long road where expensive cars and sports bikes were parked. Am I on the right path? I wondered as I kept moving forward.
Just then, I saw the Mian Academy building. It was huge, almost like a castle. Just like the magic schools we see on TV, with tall towers and a grand, castle-like structure. This academy was the same.
It looked incredibly royal.
My steps stopped, and I stood there right in front of Mian Academy because I didn’t know where to go from here or whom to ask about the welfare student program. Ken didn’t know either, since he had never studied at this academy.
This year, all the senior students had graduated, so every batch in the academy consisted of new students who had enrolled this year. I was lost in my thoughts, standing there with my arms folded near my chest.
Just then, someone touched my shoulder from behind. I flinched and glanced back in surprise. A girl was standing there.
She had pink hair. Unlike her, I had blond hair and blue eyes. The girl was beautiful and even shorter than me.
“Hey, are you here to fill out the welfare program form to take the exam?” she asked.
My eyes brightened. “Yes, you’re right. But how did you know I was here for the welfare program?” I asked.
“Oh, because I filled out the form yesterday. I was all alone here, other welfare students weren’t talking to me. I guessed from your clothes that you were also going to apply for the welfare program,” she said.
I looked at her and smiled awkwardly. I could understand why she guessed from my clothes, was it because I was wearing cheap clothes?
And why weren’t the other welfare students talking to her? I had thought welfare students would at least talk to each other, since they all came from similar backgrounds.
“Hello, my name is Lian. And yours?” I asked, introducing myself.
She smiled.
“My name is Eva. Pleasure to meet you, Lian. But why are you standing here instead of going in?” she asked.
“Actually, I didn’t know where to go. It’s my first time here,” I explained.
She was so kind, she took me inside with her. As we walked in, I saw many students moving through the hallways, but when their eyes fell on us, disgust flashed across their faces. They whispered to each other while staring at us.
I didn’t have the energy to pay attention to them. I just needed to pass this exam at any cost. So I turned my head ahead. As we moved forward, we reached the teachers’ office.
“Lian, let’s go inside,” Eva said, and we both entered after seeking permission.
Inside, every teacher sat at a separate desk, almost like their own personal office. Eva grabbed my hand and guided me toward Grey Sir’s desk. She smiled at him.
“Oh, Eva! You don’t have an exam today, so what are you doing here?” he asked.
Grey Sir didn’t look very old, probably in his thirties. He had dark hair and dark eyes, sitting at his chair while working in a register book.
“Grey Sir, this is Lian. He also wants to apply for the welfare student program,” Eva explained.
Grey smiled at me while still sitting in his chair, looking up. We both stood near his desk.
“So, Lian, you want to join the welfare program too, right? Can you tell me more about your interests, what you like the most?” he asked.
I had no real answer. I didn’t have anything I liked the most. I just wanted to join the academy because I had nowhere else to go.
But I couldn’t say that; they might not even give me an application form if he found out.
“I… like dance,” I replied. From childhood, the only thing I had ever liked was dancing, especially contemporary dance.
But my father had never allowed it. He used to beat me and tell me to stop dancing.
Everyone who saw me dance criticized me, saying I was bad. After that, I never danced in front of anyone, and as I grew up, I forgot about it.
When I got my first shift on my birthday, I really thought I would find my mate, but Josh found me instead. And I didn’t reject him. I probably should have.
But nothing is going to change, no matter how much I regret now. I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Grey Sir.
He smiled and handed me the form. I filled it out while standing there, and Eva helped me along the way. When I was done, I handed the form back to Grey Sir.
“Thank you for filling out the form. Your exams are tomorrow, so you can go ahead and rest for now,” Grey Sir said.
I was shocked. Exams are tomorrow? If that’s the case, where will I go today? What will I eat? While I was lost in these thoughts, I felt a touch on my hand. I glanced at Eva, she had grabbed my hand and was leading me out of the office.
“Let’s go to the welfare students’ quarters,” she said.
I didn’t ask any questions and followed her. We walked outside the building, turned to the right, and kept going.
Soon, we reached a building hidden near the forest. It didn’t look fancy, just average.
I realized that this is where students who applied for the welfare program stay until the exam.
Jack's POV Opening Mian Academy was our parents’ idea. Since our surname was Mian, but due to certain circumstances, our parents died and left us when we were kids. My older brother, Andrew, had no choice but to take the throne and become the alpha of the pack. But since he wasn’t an adult when he became alpha, many people tried to manipulate him. I was always at home with our younger twin brothers, Nick and Mick. They are twins but have completely different personalities and don’t even look alike. However, we all inherited golden eyes from our father. Most things were hard for Andrew. Every day, people tried to kill him, and he was getting injured more and more. That’s when Andrew and I decided we would become stronger than anyone, and today, we are.I never show my face as the brother of the alpha. I hide my identity and work as a professor and choreographer at Mian Academy. It was Andrew’s idea a few years ago to start a welfare program for students who aren’t rich or who are
Lian's POV We quickly sat down at the dining table, which was wooden. There wasn’t really a proper dining table for us, but even this was better than nothing. As we were eating, that same girl who had messed with us earlier came there. When she arrived, I thought she was here to eat.But she passed from behind me. I hadn’t noticed her at first, but from the corner of my left eye, I realized she was standing right behind me.I glanced back, and indeed she was there, standing with her arms folded near her chest. I really didn’t understand what this foolish girl wanted from me now.“What?” I asked her. When I asked, her eyes stayed on me, and she remained in the same position. I was about to say more, but before I could, Eva stood up from her chair and moved beside the girl.“What exactly is your problem? Are you, by any chance, jealous of us? Is that why you’re always looking for an opportunity to fight with us? I’ve endured enough of your bullshit, but neither I nor Lian are going to
Lian's POV Eva and I left our building and started moving forward. Other students were behind us. Everyone was divided into groups. They only talked with their group members and no one else. Eva and I were in one group, I guess.“Are you nervous, Lian?”I glanced at Eva. “Of course I am. I’m hella nervous right now. My whole body is trembling.”Eva looked nervous too, more than me, I guess. She had been smiling this whole time, so now that her face was down, I could see how important this exam was for her as well. I never asked her anything personal about herself. Because if I asked about her, she would ask about me too. And I don’t want to tell anyone where I am from.I am basically a rogue now. While talking, we all reached the end of the university building, that’s where our exam was being held. My whole body was trembling in fear. I knew I was nervous. But still, taking a deep breath, Eva and I entered the exam hall with everyone. As we entered, the hall was empty. Our names
Lian's POV Once the exams are over and the results are announced, students move into the real dorms with the others who aren’t part of the welfare program. Those who fail, however, go back home. That meant everything depended on this exam. My life depended on this exam. “What are you thinking about, Lian? Are you perhaps worried about the exam? Don’t worry, exams are mostly based on what we’re most interested in. Everyone will have different exam papers according to their interests,” Eva said as we walked toward the building. What? We’re all going to have different exam papers? And the exam will be based on our interests? Does that mean they’re going to ask me about dance in the exam? Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps. As we reached the building, I saw a few students standing outside, chatting, while some were inside. I glanced at them, but they just ignored me, as if I didn’t exist.Seriously, Eva was right. Welfare program students behaved like this with each other, they

Lian's POV By the time I crossed the jungle, it was already night. I was so exhausted that I was dragging my feet. When I finally came out, I saw a proper road, cars passing by, buildings nearby, people moving around like normal. Some humans were there too, living alongside wolf shifters.I moved forward, about to cross the road, when suddenly my legs gave out. I collapsed in the middle of the road. A car was coming toward me at full speed. I tried to move, but I couldn’t. I clenched my eyes tightly, waiting for the pain. But it never came. After a moment, I opened my eyes and saw the car had stopped right in front of me. The door opened. I first saw black leather shoes, then black pants. When I looked up, I saw a man wearing a black suit over a white shirt. He had brown hair and golden eyes.“If you want to commit suicide, find another car. Don’t stop in front of mine,” he said.He was handsome, but his face slowly became blurrier and blurrier… and then everything went dark. Now,
