“What just happened?” I asked, my entire body was still vibrating internally. My legs felt so wobbly as I walked up to Chloe and sat down with a harsh breath, feeling heat coating my cheeks. “What got into him? That was strange, but…” I had to admit I liked it. It made me feel really glad that he was so genuinely interested in claiming me as his despite my worthlessness, yet it was very extraordinary and I wondered what the hell brought such a reaction from him.

“Aw, she’s blushing so much.” Chloe teased and it only made my face feel redder. “I didn’t know your Alpha was that possessive of you.”
