Seraphina’s POVIt had been two weeks. Two long, exhausting weeks of River pushing me beyond every limit I once believed my body had.Every morning bled into bruises, sweat, and aching muscles. Every evening ended with another lesson combat stance, balance, scent control, speed drills, and endurance runs through the thick forest paths behind the pack grounds. River trained me like I was being prepared for a war.A war I knew nothing about and somehow, that thought alone sent goosebumps crawling across my skin.Still… I couldn’t deny the truth that I had changed. My body no longer felt like the fragile shell it used to be. My limbs were stronger, my reflexes sharper, and even Shila had grown more responsive inside me. For the first time in a long while, I no longer felt like the weak omega everyone once looked down on.“Well done, Seraphina,” River said, his voice warm with approval after our final training session for the day. “You’ve become stronger than before.”I let out a long, sh

Of course it was.The Blood Full Moon was close, and the pack had started growing restless.“Yeah,” I muttered. “It should be.” I turned fully toward her. “Where are they?”“In the conference room.”“Give me a minute.”Without waiting for a reply, I walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind me.My reflection stared back at me from the mirror, my sharp silver eyes shadowed by exh

Peter’s POvA heavy knock on the door jolted me back to reality. For a second, I stayed frozen on the couch, my fingers tightening around the armrest as I lifted my head. Was I imagining things? The knock came again but Harder this time proving me wrong. My brows furrowed. Slowly, I reached for the knife beside the table, gripping it tightly as I rose to my feet. In times like this, caution was survival. Too many enemies wore familiar faces.I moved toward the door in careful steps, every muscle in my body tense. The moment I pulled it open, my eyes widened.Alpha Kelan was standing outside my house. For a heartbeat, I simply stared he looked… terrible and Drained. His hair was messy, his shoulders heavy, his face shadowed with exhaustion, as though he had gone to war and barely made it back.“Alpha Kelan?” I called out, unable to hide the surprise in my voice. Then confusion quickly followed it.“What are you doing here?” My gaze swept over him from his bare feet to the wildness of hi

Alpha Kelan’s POV“Kelan, you need to calm down!”Lyra’s voice cut through the room, sharp and desperate. My head snapped toward her instantly, The air around me thickened.“How dare you scream at me?” I growled, my voice dropping into something darker and dangerous.I began walking toward her slowly, deliberately, like a predator closing in on prey. Each step was heavy, controlled, but the rage beneath it was barely contained.Lyra stiffened, her back pressing slightly against the wall. I could hear her heartbeat quicken fast, uneven.“I-I’m sorry, Alpha,” she said quickly, lowering her gaze in submission. “But you’ve been destroying things at every little trigger. You’re losing control.”My jaw clenched.“And how,” I snapped, my voice rising, “is that supposed to be your concern, Lyra? Tell me!” I roared the last part, and she flinched hard.My chest rose and fell rapidly, my claws threatening to break through my skin. The room smelled of tension, fear… and my own instability.“Alpha

‎River POV‎‎Seraphina’s wolf stood before me tall, poised, and radiant.‎‎The fading sunlight filtered through the trees, catching against her snow-white fur, making it shimmer like something not entirely of this world. ‎Seraphina POV‎‎“Hey… you ready?”‎‎River’s voice cut through the quiet of the forest, steady and watchful.‎‎I stretched my leg forward, rolling my shoulders back as tension coiled through my muscles. My body felt different lighter, sharper… dangerous. Even the air brushing against my skin felt clearer, as if my senses had been stripped raw and rebuilt into something stronger.‎‎“Yeah,” I said, my lips curling slightly as I glanced at him. “I am.”‎‎River’s eyes flickered with approval, though his posture remained firm, authoritative the way a trainer watches a weapon he’s still refining.‎‎“Good. Now I want you to—”Before he could finish, I was gone.‎‎The ground barely made a sound beneath my feet. Wind rushed past my ears as my body moved on instinct, faster than thought, faster than hesitation. My fingers wrapped around the arrow, and in the next breath I was back and I dropped it into his hand.‎‎River blinked.‎‎Then he chuckled, low and impressed. “That was fast.”‎‎
