Chapter Seven.

Himari’s POV.

I feel my facial muscle rise and contort with discomfort from the heat burning against my skin. With a frown, I growl in my throat and prise my lids open.

“Ow,” I wince as the sunlight blinds me, shifting away from it with a groan.

This feels strange, did I die and go to heaven? Is that why I’m laying on a very soft and comfortable cloud in sleep like this? Is the sun in Heaven this piercing though?

“Oh, she’s coming awake. I should convey this to the master right away.”

Is that an Angel? Can I really be in Heaven then? Mirth sprouts onto my face as I concede to this bright thought, a smile forming on my face as I now decide to bring my eyes open and embrace my lofty afterlife. And it all goes flying away like balloons when I see a man staring down at me with relief. Clad in a white lab coat and a stethoscope hanging around his neck.
