Chapter 61

"Alright, I'll pick it up this afternoon," Sam replied.

Last year, Sam was not able to attend the reunion because she went to the southern suburbs. Thus, she planned to attend this year since it's nearly six years now when she graduated from college.

“By the way mom, I moved to a new house.” She continued.

“Moved? Why so sudden? Didn’t you just paid your apartment last year?” Mrs. Wilson was puzzled.

“It’s a long story, mom. I’ll tell you later when I get there. I’ll hang up now. Bye!” Sam ended the call.

She could not tell over the phone that Charles gave her a house that’s why she intended to go there to inform her mom.

After the call, Sam took her favorite novel from the bookshelf and sat down on the sofa. She read it until she unconsciously fell asleep. It appeared that she needs to sleep more.
