Chapter 79 - Dance

I have been in the kitchen for the last ten minutes searching for some quick snacks but have been unable to get anything till now. Ryan and Ben are in his office and doing their alpha duties, while all the elders are also there. Gramma is sleeping or, in her words, recharging herself, and as Lily didn't come back to the house, I am guessing I didn't have to unleash that jealous monster inside me. I gave up and was about to go into my room when someone rang the doorbell. I went towards the door and opened it.

I am surprised to find Ethan here. "Hi Ethan, I didn't know you were coming" he is looking uneasy, and his gaze is not meeting mine. "Did something happen?" I asked him, and he shook his head.

"The alpha king asked me to meet him in his office," he told me, and that's when I realised that I was meeting Ethan for the first time after accepting Ryan... {Does he think I will take revenge on him? or Is he sad that his chance with me is nil now?}
