Blair.

Aden said I opened my eyes at night but I didn’t remember, when I woke up Aden’s head was on the side of the bed and he was holding my hand the whole night.

I was being careful not to move because he was still asleep, and if I moved, he was going to be awake.

The door opened loudly and someone came in, he closed the door and Aden jerked up when he did.

His hand left mine and he turned around slowly.

“Carlos?” I asked.

He smiled and waved at me.

“It’s good to see you again, Blair.

Kayda. I was bleeding badly when I came home, I was attacked by a rogue in the woods, and I managed to escape after I spent two days hiding in the woods. Hoping that I wouldn’t get caught, before I came to Crestmoon Pack. I couldn’t keep hiding anything Even when I knew it was a risk. But if I wasn’t going to die there in the woods. I needed to come home, and that’s why I took the risk. “It’s Kayda!”“Peter!” “I told you she’s going to come home.” Mom cried as she held me.“Mom,” I said with the blood in my mouth. “The witch said someone will pay, was it Jordan?” “Was he the one who was going to die?” I asked squeezing her hand. “Don’t say anything, I’m going to take you in.” She held me before I collapsed on the ground, she grabbed my arms to her body and pulled me in. “Peter.”“I’m coming.”He hurried to close the door and they led me to the couch. “We have to take her to the hospital.” Dad panicked. “No, we can’t.”“What do you mean we can’t? You want us to leave her lik

Blair. I went back home with Aden, we left Carlos at the hospital, and the ride was quiet. I let my eyes go through the car window. I had no idea where we were to find Kayda. Or where she could be hiding. She could be in the pack or not. “Are you worried?”“Huh?” He snapped out of his thoughts and stared at me. “I’m worried about Carlos,” “I don’t want anything to happen to him, he might act as though he’s strong and all, but I don’t want him to handle everything on his own. And he went through all of this because of me. I told him not to worry but he just won’t listen.” “You are the only one left in his family, I can see why he’s trying that hard to protect you.” “I want to protect him too and I want him to live as well not just fixed on saving me and protecting all his life, if I give him that chance he’s going to do that.” He muttered and sighed, his gaze fell on his hand, and he folded them together. I wanted to touch his hand but I didn’t, I wanted to reassure him that e

Carlos. He wanted to take the handcuffs off her hands when I got him and dragged him away from her. I pushed him backwards and we both wrestled again. And there was no guard beside Kayda, but I couldn’t let him off. The one I wanted to deal with was him, and I didn’t care how hard we fought, I wasn’t going to let him go until one of us dropped dead. “I’ve been waiting for you,” I said to him, the second he flipped me over and pressed his hand around my neck, pinning me to the ground. I gritted my teeth and struggled back to fight with him, and he turned to check on Kayda to see if she was running, but she stood there watching us, and he growled at her. That was her signal to run. I hit him the second he was distracted, and I took over the fight, and Kayda started to run. The rest of the soldiers seemed to be busy having to fight the rest of the wolves off, and Kayda was the one running. I tried to wriggle him off and get her, but his fang bit down on my leg and stopped me from

Carlos. I was getting ready to leave, I left the prison yard at night, and there was no sign of him or anyone in a mask making their way here. I left and came home to rest, and right now. I was already on my way there. I will be the one taking Kayda to the courthouse myself. I didn’t trust anyone else to do it, except me. I stopped the car when I got to the front yard, and I came out. And rolled up my sleeve to my arm. The Alpha was already on his way there, and he would have arrived in a couple of minutes, I would be the one they were waiting for. “Beta.”“Where is she?”“She’s right there, and about to be taken out.”“Give me the keys.” I took the keys from his hand and went to open the door. Her head was down, even when she heard the sound of the door opening. “Get up,” I ordered, but she didn’t get up. “Get the chains off her legs and use the silver handcuffs on her hand instead,” I said, and the guard nodded and walked in, he took the chains off, and did everything as I

Aden. I couldn’t sleep the whole night. Blair was in the guest room, I offered to have dinner with her but she refused. She said she would rather have her meal alone. And she did. I felt as if I had been thrown backwards, and Blair was right in front of me and I didn't know how I was going to fix things, how I was going to get closer to her again. ‘You should calm down, Aden. You can’t have it figured out in one night, and tomorrow you’ve to be at the courthouse, the council members will be there and also some of the Pack members. You handle this first, and Blair will be here for a while,’ ‘What if Nathan comes and he convinces her to go with him?’ ‘But he’s not coming tomorrow or the day after. So you don’t have to worry about it yet.’ I sighed. He was right, but I couldn’t wave the thoughts off my head as he said. I kept tossing and turning, I left the room and went to the kitchen to get some warm water. I had a little jump when I saw a shadow in the kitchen. “Who is the

Blair. When I woke up, Aden was on the chair, his eyes were at first closed, and then he opened them as if he knew I was awake. Each time I wake up, it is his face I see. Aden always seemed to be there, watching me, I didn’t want to mention that I noticed. Kayda was the first person I asked. He told me Kayda was in prison, and he didn’t want to see her. He didn’t even want to look at her, but it was a different feeling for me, I wanted to see her. I wanted to know why she did all of that. What could have been the reason for her to go that far? “I will take you there.” He stretched out his hand to me but I didn’t take it. He dropped it beside him and gestured for me to walk ahead and I did. I wore a jacket over my blouse, and I saw the socks on my feet. I knew it was Aden who did it, but I didn’t say a word as I took it off my feet and dropped it on the bed. We got to the prison after a few minutes' drive, and I was led out of the car. One of the guards followed me, and A

I couldn’t feel anything even after mating with my husband, not even the warmth between my legs, or his touches.
