ALPHA BEN POV

  Roland's posture stiffens as I approach him with my hands in my pockets. I place a smirk on my face, and his eyes darken. Now that I realize what is causing his disrespect, I like the man. He respected his mate enough to let her handle her relationship. He stepped aside and bit his tongue like a man.

   I stop a foot away and morph my smirk into a full-blown smile. His chest vibrates as he restrains his growl. He is probably pissed because I smell as if Chelsea and I had an intimate moment. I mean, I am drenched in her scent.

  I pull one of my hands from my pocket and offer it to him.

  "Congratulations on having Chelsea as your mate," I say, and his facial expression falls instantly.

  He grabs my hand and shakes it while his mouth hangs open in surprise.
