Clayton furiously paced back and forth inside the medical center’s waiting area, while awaiting update from Matt with regards to Amarah’s condition. He cursed Jacob silently, wishing that he did not only punch him. But remembering what his Delta had said about her condition, his priority was rushing Amarah to the center.
Adding anger to his ongoing annoyance, the first person that Amarah had called out for is still that damn doctor. Matt is still the first person she had thought of at the height of her vulnerability. Jacob had relayed that message to him.
