Chapter 5: Please, save them!

“Rose, those are nephilims, but what is she?”

"Emily, she's a vampire but at the same time she has demon blood as well. You don't intend to give her a hand Rose?”

“Why, should I? She had it coming!”

“How can you say that?”

“If you had had paid attention around you last week when we were in the forest you would know that she was fooling around with the red-headed one on her right side and two days ago when you sent me to look for your healing flower she was fooling with the bald one. Soooooo.... she kind of had it coming, plus, I for one have no intention in saving a half-breed who only knows how to fool around and create trouble.”

“But still, it's not going to end well-”

“And what do you want me to do? Let them know that we are here? If I go out, the enchantment won't be able to hide us anymore, and I can assure you that I will not let either the woman or the two men, know that we are here and leave alive so that they can let everyone else know of our whereabouts.”

“But-”

“No. I will not change my mind and that's final. Let's go and get some sleep. I, for one, am tired to death.”

“No! Please, Rose! I, for one, don't want to wake up with a body at the front door. Please?”

“... Fiiine! But she will be tied up so that she shall have no chance of playing any kind of trick on us, got it?”

“Yesss! Thank you!”

“Thanks Rose!”

“I just hope I'm not making a mistake. Since last time I helped you I was stabbed in the back literally and no pun intended. Let's just hope I won't be stabbed again. I'd really hate to be stuck in the infirmary for another 2 or 3 weeks again.”

 I always end up bored and in the end I just annoy the living light out of anyone who enters the infirmary. 

“I swear! Why do I always listen to you?”

“Because you love us?”

“Because you know that we'll pester you until you will do it?”

“Mhmm... something like that...”

I guess I have no other choice then. I better hurry and go through the back entrance. Hopefully no one will spot me if there is someone in the forest. I'd rather not have to deal with more bothersome people right now. Plus I don't really want to move to another house since this one is quite nice and cozy. Not too big nor too small. 

“No no no! Please don't! Please! I'm begging you!”

SLAP 

THUMP

What in the world- that must of have hurt. I just went around the corner and guess what? They slapped her so hard that she fainted and dropped to the ground. Poor her, not.

“Hey! You two! Yes, you! Stop it right now! 

“And why would we, sweetheart?”

“Why should we listen to you when you are just a child?'

“Because this child can kill you in just a few seconds?”

“A feisty one, nice!”

“Shut up you idiot! Can't you see? She's either an angel or a demon. Hurry up and let's kill her!”

“Or better yet, let's capture her!”

“If you are done talking then let's fight!”

UMM.... They look to be lean and tall, but they don't look that well-trained or that powerful. Their strategy will more likely be to distract me so one can sneak behind me. Cheaters. But I am so not going to give them the chance too. Now then, let's see if I can use my new trick on them for practice. They won't even know what hit them. And yet, maybe I should just quickly finish them, so I can go get some sleep. 

“You know what? Let's finish this fast so that I can go and get some sleep!”

“Well, you will get some sleep, of course, but only when you'll end up dead!”

“Good one pall! Well kiddo sorry, not so sorry, but we can't let you leave here alive-”

CRACK

“The hell! She just broke my arm! Dude, kill her now-”

'It's not my fault that you were pointing your ugly finger at me! I hate it when I see fingers pointing at me! It's disgusting, and it shows that you have no manners whatsoever!”

“You-you-you freaking brat! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!”

'Yeah-yeah... Whatever! I've heard this so many times before, and you know what?”

“What?'

“All the people who told me these are dead!”

“...'

Ahhhhhh there they are! Those eyes that are starting to show fear, those looks on my enemies faces who have underestimated me and are starting to realize who and what I am. Still, you've to give some points to these idiots for realizing so fast. 

“Did the cat ate your tongue? I mean I know I can be scary sometimes and yes I can do a lot of things which could make even the strangest of demons bow down before me, and yet I haven't done anything to you, yet, so why are you shaking so much right now?”

“We aren't shaking!”

“No? Then what are you doing right now? Dancing? Look sweethearts I will let you of easily if she, the girl you've been beating for the past...”

“Hour-”

“There! For the past hour. But until then, in the cells with you. Shadow!”

“Yesss your Highness?

“You know what to do also make sure they won't kill themselves. As for you… Come with me that is if you can stand and walk on your own. If you can't then I'll carry you.”

“I-I can't stand. I'm sorry.”

“It's alright. Here. Give me your hand. There you go, and up you go. Can you put your hands on around my neck so that you can stay in a better position?”

“Su-sure. MMM... Thank you for saving me even though I am what I am. And thank you for giving them a chance, but you'll still kill them no matter what I will say, right?”

“I won't but my superiors will. Sorry!”

“It's alright. I just wish to know who is the- AHH... It hurts!”

“Wait! This is- You are having a miscarriage?!?!” 

“Please, save them!”

“Hey! Hey! Hold on! What did you want to say to me before?”

“I just wish to know who is the fa-”

“No no no! Come on! Just hold on a little longer! Emily! Emma! Open a portal to the infirmary right now!”
