The Queen of The Half-Breeds

I can't believe them, how can they just decide for me when they don't even know if I even want to return up there! Ugh... those assholes can't even send a message to see if I agree even one bit with their idiotic ideas. Pfft ... They need me or so they say but in the end they just need me when they don't want to dirty their hands but afterwards they don't even care if I'm alive. They won't even come to the medical ward to ask : “Hey you idiot you still alive?” .

But I guess for them I'm nothing more than a weapon they can use as they please just so that they can discard me as a used toy afterwards.

”Planet Earth to Rosemary Cipriano! Do you hear me?”

”Loud and clear ma'am!”

”Hahaha! What can I say it was so funny that I forgot to laugh. Stop being sarcastic Rose we're serious here! You need to come in Heaven please, you can't let uncle Rapha go on the battlefield! I'm begging you Rose!”

”Emily get up! You know that I won't let him join the battlefield! You know that very well! I can't believe that even though we're sisters you still doubt that I will abandon you? YOU? My family? I really can't believe you guys!”

”We aren't doubting you Rose, it's just that uncle said that he'll join the war so that you won't have to fight and not even mother can convince him not to.”

I swear.... I guess once uncle makes up his mind you really can't make him stop.  Furthermore, I guess I really am not left with no other choice.

”When will the troops arrive on Earth?”

”From what we know Gabriel with the rest of the Archangel Circle signed a Peace Treaty with Lucifer an his Council and strategists, and we will train together at some kind of castle.”

”I see. Well then do tell Sarah that she shall take my place temporary as commander of the Heavenly troops since I have something to check, but I'll be able to join you soon enough.”.

”Okay but still, will you be ok? I mean even though we're sisters you still don't have to do this and yet you never say no, and I just don't want to force you to do something you don't wish to do.”

”It'll be fine, you know that I won't let him join the battlefield no matter what. He is my uncle as well, and I love him as much as you do and maybe a little more since he is like a father for me so of course I won't let him get hurt. But since he wants to join the battlefield no matter what he can join it as a doctor, how about that?”

”I guess that's better than him fighting!”

”Good. How about you wipe those tears and help me look through these books? And Emm?”

”Yes?”

”Can you cook something for us to eat? Since by the time Emily and me are ready with these books we will be dying from hunger.”

”Ok ! Any preferences?”

”As long as it's edible, and we shall also have something to eat I don't have any.  What about you Rose?”

”Hmmm... as far as I can think I also don't have any preferences.”

”Well then good luck with the books and see you later!”

”Thanks! And see you during lunch!”

I wonder though if we'll be able to find that spell or if I'll have to come up with another plan in order to be able to put and end to this war once and for all? Hmmm.... well I guess I just have to try harder, but I should also not forget that I shouldn't let those old rats out of my sight or else everything we've done, everything I've done will be in vain.

”Rose? Are you alright?”

”I'm fine Emily. I guess I'm just worried about the outcome of this war I can't help but think :“What if we won't be fast enough in finding that spell? “ Or :“Does that spell even exist or is it just a tale of the past told to naughty children by their parents at night so that they'll learn to behave? “. But I won't give up no matter what! I'll find a way to put an end to this war one way or another!”

”I know you will Rose, but what also matters is the fact that you also need to get some rest from time to time ok?”

”I'll rest after we find this spell.”

”But is it really a spell? I thought it was an incantation ...”

”Even I don't know anymore what it really is. I just know that it's strong enough to eradicate this annoying pests once and for all.”

”I see, but what will happen to us? Won't we be in danger? I mean there isn't anyway that it will backfire on us, right?”

”It won't as long as we do it right. But this doesn't mean we won't have to be careful since we can't let the nephilims get their hands on it or the old rats at that.”

”I know, we'll have to be extra careful from now on. Oh, my ! Would you look at that ? It's almost time for lunch so let's head upstairs and get refreshed for lunch since Emily won't like us sitting at the table full of dust and spiderwebs.”

”She really won't, will she? I guess we have no choice. Let's go!”

Hmmm... I guess I might have to visit that place and soon enough at that since it seems that there isn't even a trace of it here in the forgotten ruins.

But I wonder, just when will I find it? Or will I ever find it?

I'm sorry Emily, Emma but for your sake I can't tell you the truth just yet since it might as well be the end of you and me as well. Not like I care what happens to me, but I can't let you get hurt because of me yet again, you suffered enough when we were little and know it's my turn to protect you.

This time around it's my time to keep you safe and your turn to hide behind me!
