Kiera at first thought he was bluffing. No, she hoped, prayed and wished that he was bluffing. If not, then what he's demanding from her is impossible.

How can he even think of ordering her to do something as outrageous as this? — does she look like some kind of superhuman or what? Okay, she doesn't have a wolf yet, but that doesn't mean she'll be bestowed upon an accomplishable task.

“Didn't you hear me the first time!* he blurted rashly and took a step forward. She shifted backwards, fearing what he might do to her.

“A… Alpha, please. I…can't simply do all these solely” She dissented but immediately regretted it. After her utterance, a sudden gust of wind violently swept her off her feet.

Kiera winced out of pain as she hardly landed on her back; her yet to be healed mark stung like hell, and she nearly avoided crying out in pain.
