Hunter’s Pov

Her intoxicating scent was driving both I and Seiko crazy because of how noticeable it was now that I had entered the cafeteria but it was fading which only meant she was stepping out of the hall, and there was a different manly smell I was getting from her scent which also means she was stepping out with another man.

Unfathomable rage filled me at the thought that another man was even as little as holding her hand, the urge to catch up with them and tear him apart was so strong that I did not know when my eyes had turned pitch black. It was only when my Beta called my attention to it through the mind-link that I realized how frightening I looked.

“If you’ll excuse me, gentlemen, I have to check up on something but don’t worry, my assistant here will take over from me,” I said, pointing at my Beta before immediately leaving so I wouldn’t answer any of their questions.
