Annable’s Pov.

“Ouch!!...” I groaned in pain when the severe headache hit me like I was thronged by a speeding car. I wasn’t even fully sitting up yet because of the heavy weight that seemed to be pressing me down but with the little strength I used in raising myself from the bed, it felt like my head was being continuously hit with a hammer.

“Lie down back, the pain will subside after some time. The maid will soon be here with your hangover soup.” I heard a deep smooth voice say to me before I felt a heavy force pull me back down to the bed.

Not thinking much of it as my brain was still in a jumbled mess, I settled down comfortably on the bed and tried to sleep back when the realization of what was happening hit me.
